I know it's twisted, but I can't help myself. Mining is so dirty! Sex with miners is more than a fantasy for me. It's an obsession. I'm terrified that I might act on it someday, which is why I avoid Wales and West Virginia.

My knees are weak...

"Abandoned" mines are the best, aren't they? Remember how often Lassie had to rescue Timmy from an abandoned mine shaft? On second thought, maybe it wasn't the mine reference that made me obsess about those episodes, but the word "shaft."

Oooh. I like the imagery of the miner coming up out of the mine all covered in black soot. You run up and grab his face and kiss him. It gets so hot that you're tearing at his dirty clothes and he's groping at yours, leaving black smudges all over your outfit, and then your bra and panties and your skin. You slide all over each other making a big dirty, sweaty mess. Everything you touch is marked with your passion...

Every single one of my stories features miners, even though I don't explicitly say so, all the male protags are miners because they are people I know.

Before the Thatch closed all the mines in this area if ever you went into the local Working Men's Clubs shortly after the day shift ended you would see a bar full of blokes drinking, swearing, laughing, playing cards, dominoes and snooker and every single one of them appeared to be wearing eyeliner. Kind of a badge of the working classes.

Something that may be of interest to you as well Sher, the vast majority also had at least a few coal tatoos marking most of their backs from crawling through 18" - 3' seams.
 
What popped into my mind when you asked this question was that wonderful Monty Python skit where the young Welsh man strides into the house of his dad to announcing that he'd defying his father, leaving for another job entirely. He has other plans, other dreams. The father roundly accuses the boy of being ashamed of what his father does! Is it too lowly for this educated lad?

No! the lad insists...he just doesn't want to be a writer. He wants to be a coal miner :D

The thread wasn't meant to make light of the work, but to indulge in a bad pun, as an alternative to going postal in response to the Google records subpeona and other anti-privacy tactics by which my Leader claims to be protecting children.

No wonder some of your characters are so real, it hurts to read them. They wear toughness like a scar.
 
*omfg* if could just meet a cool guy like a mechanic or a miner and if he was sweet and all then *right on* the guys at the alcoa coal plant are so cool and they have the coolest trucks.

My b/f s such a loser so i think a miner is a really cool profession.

Yes, it does read like I was defending a political stance doesn't it? I wasn't (except for the Thatcher part) My post was written as lightly as your thread aim sher but it seems I just can't do simple any more.

I got the pun. I got the joke and wholly agree with you about googling. I'll shut up now.
 
Laurel and Manu don't allow threads about sex with miners, you better change it to a thread about sex with dirty guys while underground with a flashlight strapped to your head ........ oh what the hell .... tell him to go for the gold.

There is all kinds of scary stuff out there, Sony installing spyware under the guise of anti-piracy protection, and anybody can get your cell phone records, and what I hate, I was getting anti-virus updates and the fuckers installed a third party tool-bar helper crap, I killed it.

Google is another thing I keep worryin about. Pretty soon I will prolly start getting batteries in the mail when my vibrator gets low, well, I wouldn't mind that but the other stuff is scary.

If simplicity has become too difficult, it's only from lack of practice. Try starting with a complex thought and gradually dumbing it down. Eventually, you'll be able to post a poll.

Haha, no mimer genes in me that I know of.

There's a dance studio here that has classes combining dance w different circus diciplines. Mime is on the schedule. Poor me? Lucky me! Nothing is as (visually) sexy as someone in such total control of their well trained limbs. :)
