I bought a story by an author I like, and was surprised to discover its a tutorial for anal sex. One of the characters wants double penetration but unexperienced with anal. A girlfriend trains her. I learned a lot.

Do you enlighten readers with tutorials?

You have more self-control than me, Jim. You ask some great 'Dorothy Dix' questions. I would not have the patience nor the optimism to 'hope' that someone would work out what you were driving at.

I would not DARE to write a tutorial kind of thing inside the story; that would be presumptuous, arrogant.

So as far as sex technique or sex technical 'knowledge' no way would I want to do that.

But I do have this thing about trying to feed into the general consciousness a few ideas about flirting, hitting a home run from scratch as it were, 'entering' someone's sexual zone, or bridging the gap between at first being a stranger to next being intimate.

For me there is a lot of clumsy attitudes and behaviour still in evidence in the public just about everywhere when it comes to these things, even in big budget mainstream Hollywood movies - and I would go back to another thread you started about mainstream authors largely failing at erotica.

I don't know about 'tutorial.' Not that. Never that. And I'm pretty sure you were being sarcastic when you used the word.

So no, not 'tutorial.'

These are stories. They're entertainment. And for me, that is what they are first and foremost and above all else. It's why I ever wanted to write (write basically, ANYTHING) in the first place.

I've always been an artless simpleton all knew for a dolt yet ruined exam curves with perfect scores. In class I'm the one who answers questions with ridiculous answers people;e laugh at, but the answers are always right.

When Napoleon got command of the Army of Italy many said Josephine got him the job fucking the right men. Napoleon replied, SHE SUCKS DICKS FOR ME. SO I DONT HAVE TO.

HAHAHA... If I thought I was good enough at anything to write a tutorial on the subject, I would probably have a different job.

No, I'm not going to write a pornographic/erotica how-to manual. What I will do is write stuff that I hope will get the readers off mentally, but the physical side is up to them. I don't think a tutorial is quite as sexy as a tale about the people doing the deed(s), so where is the fun in that?

Confused

Okay, now I'm confused  When I was recruited for this job, I clearly remember being told that our job is to corrupt...no one ever said anything about tutorials to me?
