This may be too much to suggest at this time along with the attempt to establish a historical connection and the idea may be too limited or unappealing. How many out there like stories based upon classic literature (novels, short stories, plays, poetry)? I used to really enjoy reading adult books such as "The Erotic Adventures of the Three Musketeers" or "The Erotic Adventures of Ulysses". If you enjoy this type of story, maybe you can suggest titles that might make the basis for exciting stories telling the explicit details that the original authors "left out"...but which we know they (and their readers) were thinking!

To start off:

WUTHERING HEIGHTS
GONE WITH THE WIND
MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY'
WAR AND PEACE
LORD OF THE FLIES
ANNA KARENINA

LORD OF THE FLIES

weren't all the kids in that book under 18?

I think you could do great things with the scenario, but I don't know that I'd want to base it on the book, exactly...a bit too twisted.

Stranger In A Strange Land - whatabout that?

OOOPs...forgot about the ages of the boys. Scratch that one from the list!

but i still like the concept of lord of the flies...bunch of "kids" (maybe early 20's) stuck on an island and have to fend for themselves. in the book they were all boys; if they were all the same sex they could turn to homosexuality for release...if not, they could form castes...who would come out on top; fems or males?

It would be easy to spoof anything by Jane Austin. The behind-the-scenes and what-really-happened view. Eg how Darcy really convinced Wickham to marry.. Lidia?...(I forget her name)

EMMA
PERSUASION
SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

Adding Dickens to the list:

DAVID COPPERFIELD
THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP
OLIVER TWIST
NICKOLAS NICKLEBY
A TALE OF TWO CITIES

Jule Verne:

TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH
AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS
THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND

Stevenson:

DR JEKYLL & MR. HYDE
TREASURE ISLAND
THE BLACK ARROW

Orwell:

THE TIME MACHINE
THE INVISIBLE MAN
THE WAR OF THE WORLDS

Other easy choices (shoo-ins):

THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS
FRANKENSTEIN
DRACULA
JANE EYRE
MOBY DICK

Please add to the list...also, thanks for commenting by adding your erotic scene additions to the titles already mentioned

But a little shorter than the original, please, pretty pretty please?

Yes, they were. We had to read the book for school in 8th grade. I don't see anything erotic about it.

Don't forget Mansfield Park!
I love Jane Austin.

Has anyone mentioned the Brontes?

What about Divina Comedia by Dante? There's this scene in it where the hero's walking through Hell and comes upon a couple who's being tortured for having fallen in love and had sex out of wedlock...

There could be a story about exactly WHAT they did to get such a hard punishment. Either they tell him, or they demonstrate it for him...

Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde

Hyde stalks out at night looking for sexual prey, and in the morning Jekyl wakes up next to strangers. hehehe.

little women... a house filled with five (once they're grown) women. What posibilities are in there?

Jane Eyre

God, I read the most HORRIBLE erotic novel based on that book. Was BDSM...was TERRIBLE. UGH.

Some of the Literature are interesting.

Well, I am an H.G. Wells fan, so ....

THE TIME MACHINE - I only know the movie (the old one from the 50s) not the book, but when I think about how the time traveller fell in love with this one girl ..... or this Morlocks. They trained the Eloi, so when they give them a signal, they become their willing slaves and walk into the dungeon. In the movie, they are eaten .... but maybe it's about sex ....

THE INVISIBLE MAN - do I really have to say somehting about that ? Just imagine, you are invisible, what would you do ? The first thing that I would do: I would enter a womens dressing room on a high school or something like that. Or I would watch someone like Sandra Bullock taking a shower .... Then I would watch her while she masturbates. And then, I would fuck her. Since she can't see me, I guess she would go nuts or something like that "there is no one - so how does it come that I feel a dick in me ...."

THE WAR OF THE WORLDS - o.k. I think there was a romance between this one scientiest and this girl, but besides that .... aliens attacking the earth .... I have no idea how that could be used in a story.

However, a story that should be added:

ROBINSON CRUSOE
In the beginning, he was alone, but then, he met Friday. I once saw an italian movie, where Friday was a woman .... (but it was a normal movie, no porn) - or, maybe it wasn't Robinson Crusoe - it was Roberta Crusoe ....

1984?

Orwell's "1984"?

"Lorna Doone". Incest and all sorts there I reckon.

You've already mentioned "The Invisible fucking Man"

For the more adventurous, try "Black Beauty"
