I wondered if any of you have read about the husband who created a spreadsheet to document the amount of times his wife rejected him? What did you think about it (whether it's fair, whether that is an adequate amount of sex, do you think its normal, what do you think the real reason is, etc.)? Has it put any ideas in your head?
Personally, although his delivery was mean, I could see why he might have thought it might have worked.I think he might have thought - in a moment of madness - that her seeing it in black and white might evoke some feeling and make her want to have sex more, even if just out of pity. Although, in some sense, I get the feeling one of them may be cheating actually and either he knew or wanted her to know he'd get up to some fun whilst she was away. That or he's just too scared to say it to her face.
I ask because I know some people are on Lit because of that very rejection in your own lives, too. So I thought all of your opinions would be interesting.
