Wife and I got each other a new king sized memory foam bed for Christmas this year, we both get a great nights sleep on it, and love the size. BUT sex has not been so great since we got it. She orgasms best if she is on top, and says she just can not get the right rhythm going to get to the big O, and if I am on top I seam to get wore out very quick. We have gotten to the point where we give up on the new bed and run to the guest room to use our old bed. But the draw back of that is a, having to stop mid way, b old bed is very loud, c we keep the heat down in that room when not in use, cold sheets turns wifey off.

So any tips for sex on the memory foam?

Thanks,

Bit off topic but the memory foam thing just made me chuckle about the humor of your new memory foam having somebody else's dent in it when you go to bed. LOL

Sorry. It's the sad sick humor of an old man.

Coot... I keep telling wife we just need to have more sex on it so it remembers how she likes it.:D

I think I have officially read it all.....
Kitchen table
Counter
Couch
Chair
Floor
Be creative...

A big hammock handmade in the Yucatan works best for me. Room for three, even.

Had to laugh when I read this one. :D We have a King Tempurpedic (really 2 singles) and love the mattress, buttttttttt Sex can be a challenge. Please see the following chart - http://www.sleeplikethedead.com/mattress-reviews-compare.html If you'll notice all the memory form mattresses are not rated very well for sex. The problem is (a) traction and (b) sinking in.

As some of the other posters have offered, look at this as an opportunity to be adventurous. Guest room, floor, chair, etc. etc. or just keep practicing on the Tempurpedic that's fun too.

I had to giggle at this one too. We have memory foam as well and it is not the greatest for sex. It has helped us expand to sex in other rooms in our house though.

...suddenly makes the connection between the purchase of that damn mattress and the demise of our sex life...

dammit!

What about a mattress topper? Not an egg crate or anything similar to foam, one that is more sturdy. They make all kinds of mattress pads and toppers with extra cushioning. Firm, feather, etc. The only downside is they can be expensive. Just a suggestion.

Flannel sheets are a wonder for cold beds, try it. We've got them on our memory foam bed and love them.

Sinking in is a bit of a problem but it doesn't stop us.

New memory foam shouldn't dent like that.
