It can always be Great!...When you know each others wants and needs... you may not always get that perfect earth shattering orgasm each time but they wouldn't be earth shattering if you did.... One can think of sex much as you think about eating.
Does every meal satisfy you to the same degree or taste

You get my point. Sex will always be a mixed variety of feelings and emotions. So much better and rewarding when in the context of true close bonds of love for the other person.

sex is a double-edged sword, in my case (maybe being a sub/slave is why). sex is used in my training, it is used as my punishment and as my reward...at times i feel as if my love for my Master is held hostage for His sexual pleasure...other times i can't imagine how i ever felt slighted at all...so maybe it depends on what sex represents in a relationship too...

icy...it's been my experience that sex is a lot better when I'm with someone I love!!!! It's a lot more fun and pleasing!

I have found that every once in a while a person will cross you path in life and trust me it is a rare occurance. But, when it happens it is incredible. It's the whole package the touching, the kissing, the holding one another, it the love making. The five and six hour love making sections that leaves the both of you like exhausted animals. I can honestly say that I knew her boby, her fantasys, and her pleasures better than she did. However, it seems that all good things must come to a end After eight years I still remember her! I had a problem during my relationship that related to this question.. I was deeply in love with her, but the sex became so predictable.. It seemed sometimes she was only doing it for my benefit, and that obviously ruined it for me. If you have a connection then yes, it can be amazing each time in many different ways.. However, after this experience, I now realise that it cannot always be good every time, even with someone you love.
