ANGRY parents are protesting about a sex education video for kids as young as five that describes a woman pleasuring herself.

The new Living and Growing films are made by Channel 4.

Parents at Sherwell Valley primary, Torquay, Devon, want it banned following a preview.

Headmaster Roger Hughes said: “It is not offensive.” But he added he would discuss the row with the governors.

It's just the lesbian slant they objected to I think dear, with the woman pleasuring herself... If there'd been some bloke giving her one the parents wouldn't have minded

On a serious note, the sooner kids learn the pitfalls of sexuality and are taught about safe sex and sensible behaviour, the better... what can be safer than pleasuring yourself I remember our daughter coming home full of giggles and full of knowledge aged 8 when they started full on sex ed classes at her primary school... Having said this, I'm not too sure full on video porn is all that appropriate for 5 yr olds.

Just to get my two cents worth in... I think it is ALL moving a little too fast, too young, and eventually, no good will come of the current attitude toward sex education and the young. There is a point when its too young and too graphic.

But then I'm a prude anywayz....thatz why I'm posting this here on the AMA board... this is the American Medical Association isn't it?
