Sex during ur period!?!?

I have about several Questions to ask.
First and foremost..someone once told me that if you are having your period and you start to engage in sexual activity you actually do stop your period for the time being. And well if your period stops flowing..you could have sex right?
Well is this true???
Also is it safe to have sex during your period?
And how do the guys react to it..if a female ask
them to?

I've had sex with several past GF's while they were on their periods. It wasn't super nasty like most would imagine. Also, we never did it on their "heavy flow" days... usually 2 or 3 days after they started. To the best of my knowledge, I do not think having sex on your period will stop you from having your period once you've started. And I believe it is 100% safe to engage in normal sexual relations while you are on your period. I'm sure you wouldn't want to try something super vigorious like a 10 person gang bang or fisting (not that you'd want to do that when you aren't on your period lol). From my experiences, my past GF's all said they felt much better after having sex because the sex relieved the cramps and bloating and basically made it feel relatively normal. Something about having an orgasm is supposed to be very beneficial for relieving period cramps and bloating.

On my end, I would say it felt much hotter inside and even a bit wetter. Other than that, it was felt the same. We always put a towel down under her (which I recommend... or do it in the shower).

How guys react... depends on the guy. Some are squimish about that kinda thing. Some can't take the blood. Some can't take the smell. Others, like me, are fine with the whole thing. There have even been a few times where I went down on my GF's in the shower while they were on their periods.

P.B. is right. There are no bad side-effects of sex on your period, and it does feel nice. Plus, most women tend to be more in-the-mood during that time since everything feels more sensitive (breasts, skin, etc). I don't see any reason why heavy play would be bad.

My flow does tend to lighten up shortly after a nice long romp, but that's temporary. It is not unhealthy for you/your woman. Hunny has never had a problem with it (though he's very rarely had a problem with ANYthing, lol), even going down on me while I'm bleeding, as long as I have a tampon in or am in the shower.

Ok, I found it, in my natural birth control book, it says not to have sex during your period because 1.) it isnt garanteed that you wont get pregnant and 2.) medical research supports that it can increase your risks of endometriosis

My girlfriend and I are both on the same cycle, so we're always on our periods together. We both get INCREDIBLY horny the week before, and the week of our periods so hell yeah you can have sex during. Big, fluffy towels are always nice. And it really does wonders for cramps.

It definitely does help with the cramps. I get them really bad. Anyhoo, there's nothing wrong with it as long as your partner is ok with it. I have to live without oral for a while, but other than that... Sometimes it's actually better sex during your period. I found personally that I come a lot harder. I've discovered that if I've used a tampon during the day it's less messy too.

I found this too with my wife.. When she was on the pill.. it worked a little TOO well.. (like not feeling like sex ever).. The only time she actually got horny at all, was during her period.. Not a lot of fun being relegated to a once-a-month bonk..

No, this is not true. Your flow will continue even if you engage in sexual intercourse.

Also is it safe to have sex during your period?

Yes, it is perfectly safe to have sex while on your period. Depending on the heaviness of your flow, though, it could get a bit messy. The use of a condom can help keep the man "clean" during sex (and, of course, soap and water work wonders! ). Towels down on the bed or other surface can help keep it clean as well.
