As with other addictions, sex is a problem when it interferes with your functioning and has negative consequences in other aspects of your life - your job, your relationships, your priorities. When it consumes your other interests and you pursue it at the expense of people and pursuits that are more important to you... then it’s an addiction.

It's not easy to keep under control...age helps.

I think we are also called Sexaholics. Never get all we want even if we get all we can handle.

A 12 step program helps too.

The "sex addict industry" is worth tens of millions of dollars for phony psychological treatments and clinics. There is a strong, profit-based incentive to retain the myth.

It's easy to make fun of sex and porn addictions and I'm more than happy to join in but always with an understanding that some people really do suffer because of them and need help. Still funny tho.
