Seven Letter Post Office X 3 Redux

My lord, never once hath thou stinted in thy praise of me, whether 't'is deservéd or nay; how canst thou not expect me to return like for like? Never hath thou been less than the most courtly and attentive of knights, good my lord!

Whene'er a common fellow intends to sing praise to a most lovely Lady of hy'er repute, he needs must be prepar'd to suffer the consequence thereof, e'en her teasing professions of reciprocal opinion.

My lord, mine opinion regarding thee extends beyond the frivolous and inconsequential thou wouldst apportion me, of that you may be certain; naught thou hast communicated to me of thyself hath left such impression upon me, be assured!

But thou know'st aught of me save my words, dear heart, I could be charlatan or knave; I am tending to wonder if thou hast taken leave of thy senses.

Forgive me, my lord, but I am not reading more of thee than thou believest to be; I am fully in command of mine own faculties, and such as I see of thee bears out mine opinion. Examine thyself, good sir, for thou art truly more than the sum of thy parts!

Thou hast no more grounds for thy faith in my worth, most beautiful of them all, than thou wouldst have for believing in unicorns should some stranger avow having seen one.

Be assured, mi' Lady, I shall be heeding thy words with care.

Fie, my lord, never having seen a unichorn does not mean they do not exist, merely that I have never seen one, yet do I believe still in their magic, their purity, and their beauty, leading me to understand that oft unseen tho' others are, their parfait qualities do shine forth unhindered for those to see that can

How canst thou 'scape the notion, my Lady, that thou be'st reading far more into my words than reality wouldst have't?

Sweet prince, 't'is plain to me thy heart hath a deal of mending to undergo; know thee this; that I am waiting with bated breath for thy healéd heart to sing and echo with the joy I find in our converse

Thou hast little notion of how much happiness thou art sending to mine damaged heart, queen of mine yearning, but it has been declared ruint beyond repair and too old to recover its lost health.

Thou art mine good friend and true, good sir; aiding thee in tending to thy broken heart is a duty and a burden I most freely accept

In this life there be but one start yet many possible endings, some of which be more happie than oth'rs; with thy aid, beautiful Lady of boundless goodness, my departure may yet be less disheartening than oth'rwise imagin'd.

My lord, oft and again I find myself envious of thy capacity to express thy fond regard for me, leavened with thy modest pragmatism; know thee that thy regard is returned in full measure

Nev’r in visions of mine future, my Lady, dared I imagine that my heart wounds would lessen, let alone be healed; I remain sore afraid of crashing disappointment, but thou hast planted seeds of such hopeful anticipation.

In my converse with thee, my lord, oft do I feel a frisson of fellow feeling as thy revealéd thoughts jibe so closely with mine own; truly thou art a kindred soul, much though thou seekest to deny it!

Th' passion that o'erwhelms me, when I think of thee as kindred sole, is eftsoons o'ertaken by the chill douche of reality: we live in sep'rate worlds, ne'er to meet.

My lord, sep'rated tho' we may be by gulfs unimaginable, yet thou can'st do no less than admit to more than a passing fascination with the tone and tenor of our converse; in all that we have spoken, I do indeed count thee as friend, and wish thee fulfilment in thy endeavors!

Confession: More than one time hath I wish't I were a dashing young Chevalier, to gallop in and entrance, bedazzle, then win the heart of The Fairest of Them All (you but need ask thy looking glass), who counts me as friend.

All this wit and erudition hath flashed past me at good speed.
