To all other users on the board. If you have taken offense personally in any way shape or form to my posts in battle, I do sincerely appologise. You may have been caught in the crossfire, or maybe you you purposefully stuck your nose into the fray. I am not sure which, but if you were offended by a non-personal attack, I am sorry. With me it is really this simple. If you have my respect, you'll know it. If you don't have my respect, you'll know it.

Isn't that the way it goes? When you don't respect someone, you don't give a flying fuck about them in any way shape or form. Maybe you don't see it this way, but this is how I am. If I don't respect you, you get exactly that.....NO RESPECT! Now a few of the above mentioned users got caught up in this whole deal due to misunderstandings, or misinterpretations. Whatever the case is, they have chosen to personally attack me and hence, I retaliated. Kiwi was right about one thing, which is the sole purpose I am writing this post. I am above the above listed users, and will prove it here and now by discontinuing any form of association with any and all of them.

I am impartial to the spatting going on at lit in anyform now that I am enlightened to the truth of certain things, and I am impartial to this little trife, but I will say that it is only fact that your assertion that your discontinuing any association with those people does not prove you are above them.

This concept proves nothing about your character. You've done pretty well showing who you are, and all that is left is up to the masses. They can either play dumb, act as though you are innocent and cool, and play with you, or ignore you because of lost respect due to a number of things, but for me, hum.... because you showed who you really are when adressed Cheyenne's illness in such a flippant, cold hearted way, and since I am a chronicly ill person, that has a lot of sickness to look forward to and behind in life, I feel I can only expect you to have selective sympathy for those you 'respect' or rather, as I see it, those who blindly tag along behind your banner. As you said... Get behind me or next to me, or get knocked down or blah blah.... or somthing or other.

That whole 'disclaimer' as is appears only proves that you can write people off with a flick or a click, like the rest of us.. whoopie di di.

As I do not know you, and have respect for those who I do not know or know and have not lost my respect, I empathise with your physical ailments. You'd be correct in saying that I can write people off quickly. I do it all the time. Just not to those I hold respect for

Well, All I can say is that you will not be ignored by me, because I don't ignore anyone. I don't have a soul on ignore.

I will say, and it has to due to my religion I guess, but that I cannot understand a lack of sympathy for those who suffer illness of any kind, even if you don't respect them.

Human suffering can be a major cause of personality flaws. I see this all of the time.

BP, you come across to me as someone who is caring, but has issues. Issues just like the rest of us. I don't mean any disrespect, but it would be good for you to realize that there are loyalty bonds here, and that they are not easily broken.

Just so you know, I happen to be loyal to many, if not all, of the people that you listed, as it pertains to life and to lit, over trying to respect you, because I have known them for a long time, and they've never once given me a legitamate reason, misunderstandings aside, not to back them up to a degree.

I rarely, if ever do, or need to, because these folks handle their own problems well, but I am their friend, and I just thought for my own sake that I should speak up to you about what you have shown me.

I don't base my respect on how people treat me. I base it on how they treat others.

I agree with you 100% Starfish, and I used to be just like that in my beliefs. Times change people however, and I don't know how much clearer I can be about respect. If I don't respect someone, I simply don't respect them which also entails that I don't give a damn if they live or die. Anyone I do respect however, I have all the compassion in the world for. This may not make sense to you, and that's ok. You're not being forced to see things my way. I just ask that you try to understand my views. Nothing more, nothing less. I would never ask anyone to take sides on anything as that shows a great lack of respect to friends of all people. If anyone goes to bat for me, they do so of thier own accord. I do not request assistance when fighting a battle. I wouldn't want to drag anyone into a negative situation intentionally.

You don't base your respect for others based on how you are treated and that works for you. I base respect for others on how they treat anyone including myself, and that works for me.

So if you want to view me in a negative light, that is you're right and I will respect that based on the fact that you have not tossed personal insults towards me or my aquaintences/friends. Let's agree to disagree if you don't agree with my thoughts/opinions/views/morals.
