Still having problems here.:(

Yeah, me, too. The not really was in reference to me being sad, cos I'm not. ;)

Lou

P.S. We'd all better get writing, to fill the site up again.

Oh my God! Bush is attacking Literotica!

Rain, I rather like the idea of texts having a life of their own. Poems leaving and going is kind of poetical. Characters wanting to see the real world makes sense. Have you read Jasper Fforde?

Perdita :) :rose:

Lol, yes I have read all the Jasper Fforde books and had something of a plot bunny about Thursday Next venturing into Lit :D.

O, I'm so glad. Why haven't we discussed them? I'm waiting for the current one to go paperback. I adore Thursday, and her dad. Love Miss Havisham, and the non-characters (forget their label). O, the RIII midnight showings, wouldn't that be fun? We could go as Richard and Lady Anne.

Pear :)

Grrr.
And I just finished a 5000+ word story this morning while waiting for my ISP to start functioning again and now I have to wait again to submit it.

Yep!

My new story already has more Views than my best story has Public Comments, and it is still Pending.

Everything is back to Normal.

Submitted next entry

At last.

The problems seem to have been fixed.

Three cheers for Manu and Laurel. The temporary loss of Lit's facilities shows how much we value this place.

My next entry for the Winter Holiday contest has now been submitted. 'Dinner with Friends' should be available for 1 bombers soon.

Og the relieved.

(So is jeanne_d_artois and Fag-Ash_Lil)

I'm with you P, it's sort of funny but that's how I think of poems arriving in my head, they kind of travel from someplace and land and expect to be written out, they whisper insistent phrases until I do.

I haven't read Jasper Fforde -- yet. (Thanks for the link.) The last time text literally took on a life of its own I very nearly perished in a frenzied avalanche of books from the many perilously stacked piles on my desk. I've subsequently dispersed some to the slightly less dangerous locale of my bedside table where the images and text are free to roam and migrate into my head whist I sleep. Thank goodness it's mostly filth. Literary and artistic but filth nevertheless... ;)

BTW I'm glad Lit is functioning. I'm going to consider the glitch as a minute of silence for Rememberance Day.

I suspect server problems are because of the "The last person to post here" thread.

I was hoping the techinical difficulties might accidentally wipe away that story I have been trying to delete for three months. :(
