This is closed for ErykaLorelei. Do enjoy. Thanks, Al.
Chaylen walked into the long narrow building, looking forward to the promise of the sign that hung before the door. Dust clung to his shiny red and gilded armor, each step shaking just enough off to tickle his nose. Brushing his red hair back Chaylen stepped in, leaving his horse outside, knowing it was safe enough there.
Waiting a moment for his pale amazonite eyes to adjust to the dim lighting, Chaylen moved toward the portly man behind the bar. Half a dozen men and women halted conversations briefly as Chaylen made arrangements for a room, stable and bath.
Dressing in a simple white robe Chaylen went down to the tavern and pondered the near future. He knew simply that he was here to meet a woman, though he knew very little of her. He knew what she looked like and her name, but nothing else. Shrugging his shoulders, Chaylen knew deep in his heart that as a Paladin of the Order of the Ruby Rose he was not to question Her dictates to him.
Chaylen's eyes widened a moment over the mug of green ale as she walked in, and he marveled at the goddesses timing.
