Hello fellow Litsters,

I'm just about to submit the final chapter of my Sci-Fi series Lost Colony. This thread is mostly intended for those who are keeping up with the series, but of course I'd be delighted if a few new readers found the series through this thread.

The first chapter was published in May of last year:

I'm looking for feedback, but I also expect that a handful of my readers will have questions about the story. The story that I ended up writing didn't perfectly match with what was in my head at the start. Also, writing a serialized story presents challenges that I only mostly managed.

Thanks everyone,

Allen Woody

I really enjoyed this story. The plot was interesting and engaging, with or without sex.
I'll be reading the rest of your stories to see if they hold up as well.
Great work! Thanks for sharing your head. LOL.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! To be honest writing the sex scenes became something of a drag on how quickly I could write. I should probably learn how to write shorter, less detailed sex scenes.

I hope you like my other stories. You'll find them quite different, I'm afraid, mostly one-offs, many of which fall into the reluctance/non-consent category. The only story which resembles Lost Colony is "The Order", a fantasy story which is the only other series I've written. The themes are pretty different from Lost Colony, although I'm pleased with some of the sex scenes in chapters 2-4.

The series was excellent. Enjoy your break. A prequel of how the different societies evolved from the outbreak would be awesome and just learning more about the originals. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for your kind words. My break didn't last very long. I just submitted one (quite short) story for publication. And i do already have an idea or two for how to build more in the Kaybe world.

Thanks...

Hello Mr Allen (Lost Colony).....

It was a happy but sad day with the last page was turned for Sparr adventures. I was wondering if you've had any consideration for continuing Sparr's journey, maybe revisit or help his friends to build a better tommorow? Thank you for your time and imagination with a wonderful story.

Rar, thank you so much for your kind words. As I mentioned in my closing notes, positive comments greatly sustained me during the writing process.

I'm not sure I'll return to Alain Sparr. After living with him for more than a year I may not return. Not that there isn't more story to tell on Kaybe, but perhaps through someone else's eyes. In fact, I just started another story set on and about Kaybe. It won't include Sparr, but should help fill out some of the backstory. It will be a while though. I'm going to shoot for less time between chapters, which means having most of the story written before I publish the first chapter.

Take care... AW

Absorbing, wonderful, exotic. Great world building. Interesting characters. Wild adventures. Tone down the sex a bit and you could publish this as mainstream SF. Thank you for sharing this great, epic story.
