LoL - thanks :) I've been trying to google things to do in Seattle - it seems a bit pricey ;)

I've heard that the Space needle has a restaurant? Ever been, thoughts?
 
Have not been up there in a long time but I recall it was not cheap to eat up there. However the view is great.
 
Yes a long time ago but it is cool. If it is a nice day though I would find something else to do. It is such a wate to be inside when it is a nice day out here. There is a ferry that goes to Bainbridge Island and tehy have a lot of nice shops there to browse. The veiw across can be spectacular as well.

That's a good point to keep in mind :) If it's rainy I guess it will be a good thing to keep in mind. I've always wanted to move to Seattle maybe this trip will have a double purpose :)

Yes a good chance to check the area out. I have lived here most of my life. And all I can say is thier is no place like home, lol. However I do enjoy upper Michigan in the summer. The winter is another thing but when I was younger I enjoyed that too.

Hell I tell myself if I could get a job in Seattle I would move there...but it's hard to make those type of plans w/o the means to make them a reality :cool:

There are so many donwtown to choose from. I really have not been down ther for awhile but there is a place on the end of one of the piers that is good and has great seafood, trying to recall the name but going blank at the momment. It has decent prices too. There is also Anthony's which is not to pricey. If you want something different there are all kinds of different types of food to be had downtown.

I'm thinking that the time I do have will be very short and not enough to really explore - but I guess if I like what I see - there will be added incentive for me to return another time :)

Yes that is for sure and it is kind of fun to wander around a bit and see what interests you. I am sure you will like it enough to return one day for another visit :)

LoL - well if I do return it won't be as good a financial deal - I'm not having to pay for my airfare or for the hotel (unless I choose to extend, which I then would have to pay for any extra days on my lodging).

Are there any places you would suggest avoiding lol :D

Not real sure about that but the Belltown area kinds kind of rowdy at times, However there are a lot of clubs there if you are into that.

I am off now as I have the dreaded laundry to go fold. Well chat at you another time :)
