Sensual music

Just the sound of Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar can get me immediately horny.

As far as inspiring like "how the hell did they do that?" goes.....Mozart on guitar just mesmerizes me every single time.

The worst thread, ever.

Whoever started this thread should be shot.

There's a thread like this on the "story feedback" board (which I always thought was an odd place for it).

I posted some personal offerings there; but candidates for my top three would have to include:

Richard Strauss's Metamorphosen
Rachmaninov's Third Piano Concerto
Chopin's Op.48 Nocturnes

There are too many others for this to be serious, of course; I'm also yet to make love to any of these!

Still remember that summer morning, the music blasting out the ovver revved speakers, birds singing, the student dorms slowly waking up and her screaming louder than the music.

:D
:p you should have used more anesthetic. ;)

They've been called the worst band in the world. Frank Zappa thought they were better than the Beatles. A theater in Chicago has turned their story into a musical called "The Philosophy of the World: The Story of the Shaggs".

It's actually a sad and poignant story. Their father had a vision that he should make his daughters start a band and they did, despite the fact that none of them could play, and he pushed them into it.

I have to agree with Zappa in that they redefine the whole idea of 'music': so bad they're good.

I think that's the band that played at Joe's Bar & Grill & Bar last weekend.

Wait a minute!

Let me wrap my bra over ears like earmuffs.

Then, I will know for certain.

M. Ravel's Bolero, in my opinion, has to be the sexiest piece of music ever written. From the beginning (foreplay) to the ending (climax) I can see two people engaged in hot, passionate love making. Everytime I hear it, it sends shivers all over me, and it is not long before I am totally turned on. On my list it ranks #1, #2, & #3.

If you have ever seen the movie "10" (Ten) Bolero is featured in there as what Bo Derek likes to fuck to.

In general I prefer classical or jazz for this kind of background music. I definitely agree on the Beethoven. The sixth or the ninth jumps out to me.

When I say jazz I'm thinking more Miles than Coltrane.

Interestingly enough, the one sexual memory that instantly pops up when I try to remember music+sex is neither. Rather, it involves being attacked by a girlfriend who was wearing my leather jacket and nothing else. It was 1988 and the music was "Still of the Night" by Whitesnake.

Now, is that the full symphony, with orchestra and chorus, or are we only talking about a few snatches from "Ode to Joy?"

How about listening to Florence Foster Jenkins on the Miserable Melodies site?

She had panache and flair (and filled the Carnegie Hall).

They must have been barking mad.
