We will. Next Wednesday 25th March is our 48th wedding anniversary. Apart from possibly all restaurants being shut by then, it will be the last session of radiotherapy AND on that evening we will have to look after our grandson while his parents attend a school parents' evening...

Until recently I wasn't expected to live until our 49th but now? There is a possibility I might just survive to our 50th.

Unless I catch Covid-19...

I start radiotherapy on Wednesday - 5 sessions of 10 minutes each. It is to delay the cancer returning which it is expected to do. I will probably glow in the dark.

Well you know what they say.... No matter what it is...... it is automatically cool if it glows in the dark. Keep me/us posted Ogg!:rose:

My motto is live everyday as if it is your last, one day you will be right.

Yes I've read about your cancer. Glad to hear it's in a state of remission. Enjoy dinner and I'd buy you pint but....:D

I have to distance myself from children and pregnant women while I am radioactive...

I will probably glow in the dark.

This is not a problem unless/until you start chiming the hour and half hour. The cool part is that you can read in bed without turning on the light.

Or so my brother tells me (he has renal cancer that won't go into remission.)

Remember: whatever does not kill you-

delays the inevitable.

Best wishes.

Hmmm... I don't remember them saying anything about that when my Dad had radiation. Interesting.

Possibly that was then and this is now - or the treatments are different.

Just back from the restaurant meal. Even though it was a Monday evening, usually a less popular time, the restaurant was very empty and the service was very fast. The car park, shared with a hotel, is usually three-quarters full on a Monday evening. Tonight it was less than a quarter full and many of the vehicles belonged to staff.

Hope it was yummy!
