Send a Random PM

Hopefully posting daily on Lit will attract some attention to my PMs. I've sent a random earlier before I saw this thread. Happy PMing ya'll!

Random PM sent & one ignored.

Seriously guys fill out a profile, post more then 4 times and
MAYBE make some friends before assuming anyone even wants to talk to you let lone call you Sir.
Sir as a title is earned & respected not the joke you are turning it into.

Sir is a required form of address in the military toward officers, having been one for many years. I sort of bristle at the address now, when it's only offered as a way of courting favor, which is what it is mostly used for now. My profile is full, and I have posted well over four times. Very few want truly to chat, although there are many things I like and am interested in, and I've rarely run into anyone who has bothered to read it, or to become interested in advancing the conversation.

The title sir is not a joke when it is legitimate. Here on Lit, it is truly used most often in the sense of a joke.

Starrynight, we had a nice conversation once, and I appreciated it. It's a rare occurrence here, and I thank you for taking me seriously, and giving me that opportunity to get to know you a little better.

Thanks for the kind words Coach:rose:. This was a Spring Break lurker I suspect was a college kid who had watched the 50 shades movie and thought he could hit on anything female that way. My guess is he sent out the PM to a mass of the ladies here in hopes he could have some of what he thought was kinky fun.
