I am sorry to be so far away, but perhaps we could correspond more? (may I PM you?)

Of course - somewhere buried in here is an open invite to those who are interested to PM (but not all may get replies).

And the nice thing about Pyro though he is far away and might suffer culture shock should he move to Indiana... is that he sounds intelligent.

And, the body issue can be overcome with lots of self-love which you have to work for... and lots of outside encouragement and support. I've dealth with/am dealing with them. It's a hard road to travel. But it can be done.

Very true, and we'll just have to see how things work out - having people that you know and trust where you are going to helps to reduce the culture shock that it bound to occur (and it's really amazing how many people don't consider culture-shock to be a problem when they are suggesting that they move to us from Amsterdam or Italy or other such places  )

You arent the only one who is/has gone through this, but again, the support of people that you know and trust (and love) helps a ton in this.

Hmmm... the prospect of culture shock does sound a little daunting, though I'm not sure which part in particular would actually give me trouble.

I have met some people who, after significant life experince with traveling & living in different places, consider a little culture shock to be invigorating.

As I have rescently been reminded, I am not often good at making new friends, though I am generally a good friend to have... I suspect that will be my greatest challenge when it comes time for me to move.

Right now my strongest prospects come August lay in Bellingham, some hundred miles from here... so I may have to deal with a little culture shock anyway... one way or another.

My body issues.... now theres a pesky subject. Actually I've been told by some of my friends that I seem to wear my body quite confidently. That apparent confidence fades though when I shed a layer or two of clothing, & vaporizes altogether if I feel that my body movements are being scrutinized (which is to say that I really don't dance much, unless I'm alone).

It seems strange to me, on reflection, that I can go swimming with no problems....

As for my self love... it sorta comes & goes. In my experience, at least, one cannot practice Reiki without it, & my anxiety depression doesn't leave much room for it.

Dude... I'm a spitting Image of you except for these details:

- I live in Canada

- I am probably younger than you (unless you are 19 yourself)

- Probably have a more skinnier frame than you

- I like dancing. No wait, make that love.

Right, right. Well, not mix. I compose and re-arrange music with some mixing and mastering involved.

OK, back on topic - still looking ... still hoping to find the boy who will fit into our family.

I can't wait to see you both now if I could only speed up the days....

 Yeah ... zakath is like that ... one of a number of reasons that he does not belong to us. According to him, we aren't dominant enough (in reality, he's afraid of Holly ... LOL), and we think that eventually, he *might* make a decent subby ... but he's far from it right now ...

Anyway, unless something horrible happens in the meantime, we should be there, so we'll see you there :)

i do like dancing actually. i just.. can't... with other people around.

skinny is sometimes highly overrated....

and enough liquor will cure dancing inhibitions... and i just figure anyone standing on the side commenting on how dumb i look is just a loser on the side not having fun with the rest of us dancing fiends and has no room to critize.

Really?

So many of the girls I know are all hot and bothered by these Athenian ideal sculpted men I wanna jump off a cliff.

Yeah, I know. I really don't want to be so skinny. 140 lbs at 6 ft mean I am skinny and sadly rather a weakling compared to most other guys.

We prefer healthy with brains and a personality ... too many of the muscle-bound are brainless as well ...

Now I wish I could relocate even more :)

Many do. We do have some restrictions though ... we require that a guy's man-boobs be smaller than ours - which is pretty easy, but we have talked to a couple who were pushing it ... we want healthy, not lazy.
