Very nicely done, particularly how you wove in the dialogue from the original story, even though you told it from Zenobia's perspective. I look forward to reading more!

Not a request, but the whole royal family of Khauran City always inspired me. It's a matriarchial city ruled by a series of Queens. Queen Taramis & her sorceress twin sister Salome were in the novella that featured the original "Conan crucified on a tree in the desert" scene. Conan takes the leadership of a tribe of desert mercenaries, and retakes the throne for the rightful queen.

I always loved the setting, and Conan as a character is iconic. Some of my friends who were into fantasy liked Tolkein or Harry Potter, and those are great, but Hyboria was always my first love.
