Piece is less than 2,500 words and in it's 3rd draft --
looking for a fresh (and meticulous) pair of expert eyes
to help me put it to bed, pretty please :rose:

Would also be very grateful for advice on the most
appropriate category for it (I'm never quite sure)...

Thank you in advance!

My eyes are expert and meticulous, but they stopped being fresh about 30,000,000 words ago. I'll be happy to help if you'd like.

Should I just PM it through?

OMG, You mean my life has been in vain?

You sure didn't overload me! This story needed almost no work at all--virtually a STET. I'm still giving some thought to category, both because of the cross-genre flow and to avoid the flamers who haunt a corner or two of Lit.

CopyCarver? Sweet??

Oh man, CopyCarver, how will you ever live this down? Your reputation may be forever ruined!

(He does do good work, doesn't he, Muse? But remember to keep it quiet... shhhh...)

I believe it!!! I guess I'm going to have to run a first draft by him before I feel his wrath (or experience that "pissy arrogance" you mentioned)<lol>

He let me off with 2 tiny punctuation changes... this time!

How? *cackles malevolently* I'm already planning to blast the Flying Nun out of the sky.

Pull! Kaboom! Rotten rep restored!

Just building a sense of false security to set you up for the long knives.

Seriously, great work.

[Big Smile] I think he just likes to talk tough, I've yet to see that side of him either, but maybe soon! He warned me about the pleasure and joy editors find in tearing the hearts from a writer's chest. It was enough to make me think twice before sending him anything!

My first story did have a small ocean of blue ink, but all was easily repaired--he is a gem!

Wow Guys,

You're warming my heart to see you two so appreciative of your editor.:)
Most often than not we aren't appreciated enough and to see you two like that, well, lets just say...it makes me really happy.

Don't forget to nominate him for editor of the year when comes the time to do so for the Literotica best awards.

Congrats CopyCarver...keep doing your marvelous job. :)

My Dear LadyCibelle,
All the words we speak are truth, CopyCarver, was found to be both able and gallant. A true pleasure to exchange words with, to be sure he found favor with both of my humble offerings and may display his self-professed naughty attitude when served a less well prepared writing by myself or others.

I don't doubt for a second that he's as good as you say he is....compliments from writers are a rarity among editors so to see two authors post comments and compliments about CopyCarver is all the proof I need to know he's damn good.

Just don't say it too loud, too often..you might lose him.:(
