I've just finished a story for the upcoming Halloween contest, and I'd like a second opinion. I think the grammar and spelling is ok, but obviously will appreciate help in finding any errors. I'm also looking for opinion on flow, and if the characters seem consistent.
It's right at 17K words, and it'll go in the NonHuman category, because the main character is a vampire.
So, I'm hoping to get someone who has some experience with that category, especially to let me know if I've done something that's likely to get bombed for not adhering to convention. I might not necessarily change anything, but I'd like to know ahead of time if I've tripped landmines.
