I teach English.

I've tried everything and I'm called every other year and I'm always selected for a trial.

Well as a fourth grade teacher, I feel for you as an English teacher. Because I see these kids and I know that they will grow up to be the gramatically challenged kids you will teach. Maybe they pick you because they thinkyou are cute/

Maybe so. I'll ask.

My students come to me grammatically challenged, but they don't leave that way. Every quarter I double the penalty for certain errors. Trust me, they get the point.

Wow you seem very stern. I am also the Mean teacher. I am not really mean, just have very high expectations.

The kids who don't have me think I'm mean............my nickname is
"The Queen of Mean, Empress of the Universe, She who must be obeyed at all times, now and forever." It was given to me by the kids.

I just got through reading emails from former students....one guy sent me a trick email, so I'll have to pay him back in a month or so.

WOW, what a nickname, she whom is to be obeyed at all times. That could be kind of a fun nickname as long as the kids dont give it to you

well SBHC, I have been coming here for awhile. Although I just joined up a few months ago. We can chat if you would like. Feel free to PM me

No I was talking to you and I think that you more than covered it. I am 27. I have a 3 year old son. I am married but separated. I teach 4th grade all subjects. I have been teaching for 6 years. Did I leave anything out?

I miss teaching all subjects.

This is probably my last post tonight. I need to do a few chores.

I look forward to seeing you online again. It's really a great community. It's also addictive, but since I'm old, what else is there? ;) Oh, I'll do one thing before I go. I change my AV to the picture on the travel brochure.
