That means that tomorrow I have to go to Boston and play my tuba at a BC vs. UMass game, and act all cheerful even though we'll be slaughtered and BC is giving us a lot of crap and not giving us an easy time and acting like we should be grateful to them for letting us play against them. *whew!* Hopefully the band will be nice, though. Most other college bands I've met are always friendly and ready to socialize.Vay said:

I agree with you that everyone deserves romance. As far as not understanding people who don't understand the power of saying how they feel or showing that, I read a book called The Five Love Languages. It was really interesting because it shows the five different ways that different people express their love and it helps you figure out which one is yours and which one is your partners. It's really easy to forget sometimes that the person you are with might just feel loved by something different than you would.
My husband and I are a good example of that. I love to be told how he feels about me and words work great for me, but he responds to actions more. Sometimes it has made things a little difficult for us, but we try to remember that we are different and do what works for the other one.
