Seeking an editor for a Nonhuman series
Hello everyone,
I'm currently looking for a editor willing to work with me on a current project. It will be a Nonhuman series, with extensive world and character building. The universe I am creating has a lot of potential, I think, to serve as a basis for many more series, so it'd be a massive bonus if you were willing to edit future installments of similar stories. Therefore, I'd like to meet and get to know the editor in question, and possibly even befriend them if I have to pester them so often!

I will likely edit it, and may change the title. I initially had the whole story written, but I didn't find my characters believable or likable, thus: total overhual.
Tierran, our angel of death, is highly flawed. In some ways, he is despicable. He naturally inflicts pain wherever he goes; and in the beginning of the relationship he is obsessed versus loving. He sees our leading lady as the end of his mission. In the end, however, he falls for her before she does, and he proves to be loyal to a fault, making the ultimate decision that much harder to make.
Ashley, our main female protagonist, has had one misfortune after another befall her (which might just have something to do with Tierran). She's average in terms of height, looks, and weight. She's depressed, and its hinted that she's self-harmed in the past. Ashley's flawed as our angel, and I really want the reader to identify or feel empathy for her... my concern is that she's too average and mundane to be exciting. A lot of the humans in Nonhuman stories adjust very well to learning that their lovers are not, in fact, human. Sometimes they even turn into the race of their significant other. But I want Ashley to be realistic. She's not head over heels in love with Tierran right away, and she's frightened of him in many ways. She questions her own sanity routinely. She's a normal woman in an extraordinary situation... and being a fickle writer, her fate is up in the air. She might survive, or she might die.
To make it worse, I have 11 pages of exposition typed up in Google Docs. I know this is probably way too much, and that I'm being self-indulgent instead of simply giving the readers what they need to know.
Besides the nonhuman aspect, there will be a strong romantic theme, some action and horror, and may have some points with light bondage and domination (angels can be kinky, y'know). There may be some scenes where consent is hazy.
I also may try to adapt the series (after it is written) into a novella format and publish it on Lit in that category, if it flows well enough.
