I’d suggest joining fetlife. It’s like a kinky Facebook. For lack of better term. On fetlife there’s groups on pretty much everything in bdsm. There’s seminars you can attend on what it is you want to learn. There’s munches you can go to. A munch is just a meet and greet. If you go to a munch. Email the person running it. Let them know you’re new. If they’re good. They should show you around a little and introduce you to some good people. They might even say who to avoid.
