Seeing attachments.

I can only see pictures when the file click is written in the post. but everyone else seems to be able to see these other pics. Am I doing something wrong?

What do you mean? How do you know that?

I know there is a setting which enables or disables pictures (like avatars) to save space on your screen. Maybe you have this setting on "disabled".

Otherwise I would not know why you would not see pics others can see and I still wonder how you know this then...

Are you running Firefox/Mozilla?

if so, check your preferences...you may be "Only allow images from originating website"...which means if the image isn't hosted by literotica.com you won't be able to see it.

that feature is great for hiding banner ads though.

I have the same problem sometimes. Ya'll are going crazy over someone's horny pic and I can't see a damn thing.

see if the attachment is at the bottom of the post ,then i can click on it. but sometimes there is no attachment at the bottom of the post. Sounds like Duco is having the same problem.

Attachments show as a link below the post and it sounds like you're having no problems viewing attachments.

Images in the body of a post have to be hotlinked with the IMG tags and are usually hosted somewhere other than Literotica -- if you're having trouble seeing those images it sounds like you have your browser set to block them as SubNebGuy suggested. (IE has the capability of blocking outside images as well, but it isn't as easy to set or as efective as Mozilla/Firefox's bloking funtion.)

Is it an older post (like past 24 hours) that you're trying to see directly posted images on? Its possible the lit mod's deemed it too naughty and deleted it before you got a chance to see it- but a few others got to before it was taken down and commented.
There's a number of threads that get their pics booted for being too graphic.

I can't remember who started it, but there was a thread in the am pics forum awhile back and the poster posted several pics. Some I could see and some I couldn't. And the ones I could see were pretty nasty. I can't imagine the ones I wasn't seeing were any worse. There were several commenting on pics I couldn't see but wanted to real bad.

I know they've got weird rules on what they'll pull and what they won't.
I haven't attempted to try and push that limit. *lol*

Maybe one of the posters who've been here longer have a better knowledge of the pic rule...
