See Somebody You Know at a Nude Beach?

Just saw a thread in The Darkroom Lounge about seeing somebody you know posted in am pics. Made me think about running into someone you know at a nude beach. Has it happened to you?

Never happened to me, but I had a lady friend who was a naturist....not swinger she would insist, but a nudist that used to go to legit clubs with her entire family. She was in marketing and sales as a profession and said she once called on a company and felt that she recognized one of the men at a meeting. THe man also kept thinking he knew her. After a little more discussion, they realized that they had visited the same nudist clup relatively frequently. Her comment was immediately, "Gees, sory I didn't recognize you with your clothes on." I did have to laugh.

It's never happened to me, but it's been a kink of mine. I've always wanted to incorporate that scene into a story.

It probably came about because once I was reading the blog of a girl I had a *huge* crush on, and she mentioned that she went to a clothing optional beach, and, wow, that was a good fantasy for a long time...

Since I started this thread, I will admit to having it happen to me four times...all co-workers. On one occasion, he saw me, but I did not see him. He went to work on Monday and told others "a friend" of his saw me at the nude beach. How would his friend know who I was? Anyway, never caused me any trouble career wise. Not sure anybody higher up in the company ever found out, or would have cared if they did.

Since it was Haulover and it had become very popular, there was not really any stigma connected with visiting. By the time Haulover became a nude beach, South Beach had been topless for years, so folks were accustomed to that sort of thing.

I remember once hearing at work some women that worked there had been seen topless on a boat in the Keys. This was before Haulover went nude.

Never - mind you, I haven't been to a Nudist beach so it's not very likely

The most surprising experience for me was unknowingly having a married couple from work set up right behind me at Haulover. I had met them while playing in the a golf league. They were partners and she had a very distinctive voice. When I heard it behind me at the beach I know it had to be them. I turned around and we had a nice chat. Do not remember what it was about.

Hard to believe so few stories of people running into friend/family/acquaintance at a nude beach. How about adding a nude resort to the topic?

Maybe getting colder outside has people thinking about things other than nude beaches?
