OK, was a DJ in the 60s and 70s and people wonder how Stairway to Heaven become such a HUGE HIT. Well, most songs were only 2-3 mins long. Great for a #1 but not a #2. So the only song that was long during that time was the FULL version of American Pie and Stairway To Heaven. It was never released as a single but we played it because we had to go to the can. Only problem was, that we were playing 45s and LPs and if the song got stuck because of a scratch, it was not rare to see a DJ running down the hall with his pants down around his legs. LOL Sad but all true!

Oh it was REALLY funny when someone walked in as you were running down the hall. Worst thing that happened to me, I went to go pick up the tone arm on the record player and it snapped off. I had only one turntable and I ended up doing nothing but Album features till the engineer came to fix it.
And yes radio back then was A LOT like WKRP.

Im no stranger to strip clubs myself but even I was almost as shocked as poor, shy newbie Roxy at Just how FAR that dancer took things with her out in the open, main room of the club!!! I was gripping her hand as the dancer licked her, cuz I knew she must have been nervous but, not suprisingly we both ended up getting a huge THRILL out of the entire evening at the club.
