I would rather you use CM Punk for this but another wrestler is okay with me

Working as a secretary for Linda McMahon was the most calming job Jyn had ever known and it was driving her crazy. After bring a cop in New Orleans for 13 years, her life had become a trifle mundane compared to the life or death moments she shared with her partner, Tucker. The only thing she had going for her right now was her family. Davis, her twin brother, a.k.a. Demon, decided to uproot his life and his career at Tulane as a trauma surgeon to help her with her twin, Stefan and Sabor. The two were 5 years old now and asking a lot of questions. Their father worked in the Mardi gras museum and Jyn had decided to back up some of the rookies that had some problems keeping the crowds back. To Jyn, he looked like Taylor Kitsch but with darker hair and brighter eyes.

They hit it off right away but she a lot of trust issues and apparently so did he. This became very obvious to her about a year and half into the relationship when they had become engaged. An old flame from her past showed up at her door. This was someone she had been in love with years ago so his presence was a shock. He got down on one knee and proposed. Jyn did her best not to hurt the man, her mother taught her better than that. She sent him packing but Ryan didn’t see things the way she thought he would. He flew into a rage and did something she never thought he would do: he hit her. There had been a planter on the table and he smashed it across one side of her head and face.

The blow had her knocked out and on the floor until her twin brother finally found her. What happened between that point and then on was still a blur for her. Davis and Tucker made sure that Ryan knew that their relationship was over. They even gave toe ring back for her. Two weeks later she saw his face again, this time on the news. He had shot himself in his parents’ basement and was dead. Despite what he did to her, Jyn was devastated. For days she sulked in her room, grieving for someone who had betrayed her. Davis had talked with her boss and they said she had a lot of vacation time saved up so she could take her time. They needed her at 100 percent.

Jyn had noticed the nausea but thought it was just her emotions driving her body crazy. When that little plus sign appeared, she knew her life would never be the same. Those two bright-eyed kids had become the light of her life and her twin had become her hero. He worked on set tending to the guys’ medical needs while helping her at night with the kids. Between the two of them they were exhausted. Jyn didn’t want anyone knowing where she was at the moment and she was sure how anyone would take having a homicide lieutenant working for them so she fudged on her background a little. As far as they knew she was just your average everyday secretary. Jyn dressed down too so that she didn’t attract attention.

An old friend name Byron Wilcott, made contact with Davis wondering if he could spin him into getting a job. If there was anyone who could get the job done, it was Demon. He earned his nickname not from her but from the nurses he used to charm in the emergency room. He was a good guy deep down though. Jyn was nervous though. One of the other wrestlers had gotten a little too interested in them and she told Davis it might end up being a problem. He scoffed, saying that maybe the guy had a crush on her. She just gaped at him like he had lost his mind. The two of them were sitting in the empty audience chairs as they set up for Monday Night RAW. Byron was going to be wrestling Fandango tonight. Jyn was working on her computer to make the arrangements for Linda’s arrival. The hotel had been booked, dinner reservations made and the hotel had sent over a gift basket and wine. “I got to go see about Byron.” Yeah right, she thought. Going goof off is what he’s going do.

She was tapping away at the laptop when she felt a hand on her shoulder and someone sat next to her. Thinking it was Davis, Jyn didn’t even look up from what she was doing. “That was fast, Demon. Is Byron’s knee gonna be alright for tonight?” She looked up and got a surprise but didn’t show it. Thirteen years on the force had schooled her well on how to hide her emotions. This guy was just way too curious.

What am I doing with this? Well essentially I will be continuing the story,role-playing with myself in a way, until someone takes up the key male character.

“Demon?” Punk grimaced as he thought over all the men on the roster. “I don’t think we have a Demon working here.” Jyn was not impressed by Phillip Brooks a.k.a. CM Punk. She wasn’t here to make friends anyway. It was just a paycheck to here. There was no way in hell she was opening herself up again for someone to do more damage. Her life was her family and making sure they were taken care of. “Is there something I can do for you, Mr. Brooks?” Most of the guys treated her like a little girl since she didn’t look her age, including this idiot. “I was just curious. You sit here, silent as a mouse and we still have no idea what you do.”

The laptop Jyn was working with was semi-closed and Punk tried to lift it a little so he could see. She caught on and gave his hand a sound thwack. He held the wounded appendage to his chest. “OW! That hurt!” It was hard NOT to laugh at men when they acted this dumb. “Curiosity killed the cat.” Punk’s ego was taking a beating when it came to this chick. She kept to herself except for when she hung out with that dark haired newbie. Linda had hire this chick rather quickly and he didn’t exactly trust her. The quiet ones have the most to hide. “Give a guy a break.”

“Mr. Brooks, I will give you a break when you let me work.” He shrugged sheepishly. “No reason we can’t talk while you work.” Out of all the people she met in her life, this guy had to be the most persistent. He was also getting on her nerves. She was going to have to work on that in another sparring session with Davis. Her temper would like have exploded at some other point if it hadn’t been for those nightly workouts. It helped her work the tension off that she could give into with her temper during the day. “You are being very distracting and I have somewhere to be tonight so will you please leave me alone.” He feigned disappointment.
Punk took note that she was going out tonight. Maybe he could find out just where and ambush her. He loved getting under her skin and she could try to hide it all she wanted. That girl had the most unusual eyes, a honey gold when she was calm and happy. When she was ticked like she was just now, dark brown....almost black. He was still limping a bit from his last match in Orlando so he wasn’t doing much of anything even during tapings so he had time to mess with her every now and again. Someone needed to update the girl’s wardrobe. She looked like an old school librarian and he was curious about that hair she kept pinned up all the time.

“Why don’t you like me?” The question was direct and honest. Jyn decided to answer this one question for that reason. “You’re impulsive, rude and loud. You do without asking and touch other people’s things without permission. You walk around like this world owes you something.” He hadn’t been expecting an actual answer. Instead of blowing up like some people would, he just made a face ad shrugged. “Ok.” Just when she thought she would get some peace… “Who is Demon?” She breathed in a long hard sigh. “My twin brother, the one who been fixing the dings and scratches you guys tend to get.”

Now that he thought about it, there was a resemblance between the two. While he was busy contemplating his theory of the cosmos, Jyn packed her laptop up and got out of there. He was way too damn curious about her and she needed this job to stay hidden until Tucker could give her the all clear to come back home. John Cena tapped his onscreen nemesis on the shoulder and smiled. “Looks like she ran off while you were in la-la land, buddy.” He chuckled, those famous dimple winking away. Punk growled. “I really do not get that chick. Every time I go by to say hello, she runs away like a scared bunny rabbit. John just shrugged. “You’ve never had a problem getting someone’s attention before.” Punk got an evil thought in his head and John got a little nervous. “Ok, evil one, what is going through that brain? I know that look. It don’t take Scooby Doo to figure this one out.”

“I’m just going to pay a little visit to Vince’s office.”

“HE WANTS ME TO WHAT?!” Linda took a deep breath and prayed for patience. “He wants you as an escort for the night and if it goes well, maybe for the rest of this year.” More than half a year on the arm of the most aggravating creature known to man? “I cannot out there. As soon as someone back home sees my face, it is over. My family and I get yanked back into protective custody with those U.S. Marshals butting in.” It amazed her how Punk zeroed on the one woman that definitely didn’t want any extra attention. But is what was in her file was accurate, this woman was quite remarkable in her own right. Thirteen years on the New Orleans Police Department, a good majority of it doing undercover work for sting operations in the strip clubs.

“This may be a good thing. Even if they did recognize you, they couldn’t do anything to you. The only real time you’d be exposed is when we tape and the chances of someone NOT seeing a shooter in…” Jyn had to cut her off. “It is also very easy for a shooter to break apart his gun and to ditch it. The crowd is the perfect cover.” Linda made a face and she had sympathy for the woman’s position. “I heard you had a time of it last night.” Jyn rolled her eyes as she remembered her situation with Punk last night. She was trying to meet with an informant but Punk was following her ass everywhere she went. The C.I. got skittish and took off on her. There was a very real temptation to kick that guy’s ass.

“I’m afraid Vince is not going to budge of this. I don’t know how Punk did it but you will his escort on the next Monday Night Raw. You’re gonna need a name.” Linda was about to pick up the phone to call creative when Jyn piped up. “Reaper.” Linda gaped at her. “It’s what they’ve called me for 13 years. Might as well go with what you know.” Linda had a little smile on her face and Jyn cracked one too. “What is going on in your head?” She honestly liked Linda and had a lot of respect for what she had to do every day to keep this company afloat. “Rynn Reaper..It sounds awesome.” It wasn’t bad but she definitely was gonna be trussed up in that girly shit the others walked around in.

Jyn knew exactly what she was wearing and Punk was in for one hell of a surprise. In the gym, Punk was thinking about what it was going to be like when Jyn walked out, all nervous and a little scared of the crowd. A few treadmills down from him was Jyn’s brother, the one she called Demon. Punk whistled over at him. Davis gave a little wave and a half a smile. “Something I can do for you?” This would a good a time as any to pump for information on her. Punk was a realist. He was attracted to her even those frumpy outfits. There was something about her that just didn’t fit that image. Something that told him that she was a wildcat in bed too. “Your sister doesn’t say much about where you guys come from. Why is that?”

The other man’s demeanor instantly change and Punk could swear those brown eyes went black. “We’re very private about that. I have heard some things about you. The stuff about your father. If even half of that is true than you understand that there are some things that are best left at rest. Jyn has a past that is like a raw burn. All it takes is one hard bump to bring the pain back.” Davis dismounted from the fitness machine and got out of there as quick as possible. Punk was scratching his head but he did know what Demon had meant. His father’s midnight binges had been a source of nightmares for him for a while. The trust that should have been there between parent and child wasn’t. Often it was Phillip who took care of him, making sure he didn’t burn down the house with a lit cigarette or suffocate in his own puke.

The night of the taping, Punk wasn’t sure what he was going to be getting when Jyn walked through the curtain. He walked through the curtains to greet the fans, holding a mic. As usual that meant he had something important to say. Punk was at the head of the ramp when he started to talk. “I have found a very unique woman and what can I say? I’ve been smitten. Management saw fit to assign to me to help break her in here in the WWE. She is definitely no wilting flower.” Halestorm’s Daughters of Darkness blared which surprised the hell out of Punk. He figured they would have her coming out to something more along the lines of a teeny bopper song. “Ladies and gentlemen, Rynnnnn Reappppeeerrr.”

Not a bad idea for a stage name. When she walked out in black leather instead of pink ruffles, his jaw hit the ground. The costume was complete bad ass and she owned it. The audience must have picked up on it because they were cheering. Jyn looked drastically different, which was another problem. It was going to be hard to hide a hard on in tights. Not really aware that the mic was so sensitive, Punk got caught talking to himself. “Oh yes, I think I’m in love.” That must have gone over well with the fans because they were eating this up. In the back Linda was concerned.

Jyn balked as he came closer. Soon as Punk got a little too close, she remarked. “Not even in your dreams, Punk.” The crowd burst out laughing but I had this ‘Oh? We’ll see’ look on his face that just made her worry a little. “How about we get down to business? These people didn’t pay to watch us chit chat.” They walked down the ramp together side by side. Jyn was sent to sit with Lawler and Ross. She was surprised when they handed her a head set. Linda had given her a storyline to stick to so it was going to get interesting. The crowded started to really boo when Ziggler’s music hit the speakers.

Jyn kind of familiar with his little pals. One was this crazy little woman child and the other looked like a mutant man in a onesy . Jim Ross was the first to welcome. “It’s nice to meet you, Reaper. I hope you’re adjust to life with the WWE.”

She had always had a lot of respect for both Lawler and Ross. They made this show entertaining and no one could do it better than they did. Lawler’s familiar laughter was almost enough to make her smile but she had stay in character and her character was a hard ass. “We know Punk likes to embellish a little. How did you two meet?”

Jyn noticed Ziggler looking her way with this flirty smile on his face. That wasn’t the script. What the heck was he doing? Everyone was circling each other in that ring. “It’s complicated. He was down in my home town and a few of natives got a little too drunk. They tried to jump him. I saw what was going on and managed to keep anyone from really hurting him. He was a little banged up so I brought him to my place.”

Lawler grinned. “He does seem rather smitten with you. How did you go from that to following here to the WWE?” That was a good question. Little AJ decided to make an appearance, just standing next to the table staring. “Gonna take a lot more than that, hun.” The girl rolled her eyes and walked away.

Ross looked impressed at her self- control. “To answer your question, Jerry, after I had a doctor from my apartment building check him out, Punk had this puppy dog look on his face. Couldn’t figure it out until the next day when I got roses at my apartment. He called me later and I thanked him for the flowers. Punk told me with the way I could move in a fight, that I was perfect for this. I wasn’t keen on the idea but the guy is a hell of a talker so I agreed.”

Jyn had to cool it a bit when she saw McCrazy try to grab Punk’s ankle as he tried to ricochet off the ropes. “I will be right back.” She heard Lawler make some offhand remark that it looked like Reaper had her first target. Linda and Vince had planned this side confrontation to sort of show the fans exactly what kind of fighter she was. AJ saw trouble coming her way and ran for the mutant baby.

Langston got in Jyn’s face used the submission move Hacksaw Jim Dugan had taught her back when she was still a cop. It took maybe a minute and Langston was unable to use his left leg. Jyn pointed at the smaller woman and she gave off this terrified energy. The crowd was loving it until Ziggler pulled her up into the ring. Punk had taken a good shot to the back and was down on the mat.

The referee was down too and Ziggler was making kissy noises in her ear. No one told her that this guy was going to get all gooey with her. “Smile for the cameras, princess.” No one on this Earth except her Daddy or her other grandfather could call her that. Jyn offered a low blow for his attitude which ended in a running bulldog. The ref started to wake at that point and Punk took advantage of the situation. Jyn slid out the ring and back to her seat with Dynamic Duo while Ziggler was covered. Punk for the 1,2,3 and the bell rang but Punk didn’t move.

Instead he smiled and gestured for her to come back into the ring. Jyn hopped back onto the apron and through the ropes. Someone threw Punk another mic. “So what do you guys think of my girl?” She almost blushed at the roar the crowd let out. It was a little exhilarating and very distracting. Which apparently was what he had been counting on. “Yeah, I think so too.” Next she knew, those lips were fused onto her mouth and his arms round her waist. She almost fought his at first but Jyn felt the attraction.

She had to hand it to him though. Punk knew how to kiss a girl. He also snuck his hand inside her coat and grabbed her ass while no one could see. Once the cameras went to standby for a commercial, they walked back up the ramp. Once through the curtains Punk made a play for her hand but she yanked it away. “Do not and I repeat do not do that again. I damn sure know it wasn’t scripted for that kiss.”

The guy had this look on his face that made absolutely no sense but she could tell he wasn’t listening to anything she said. The crew around them was taking bets on how long it would be until these were hitched. None of them had seen Punk like this with anyone, not even Beth.

The next day Jyn was walking around muttering to herself. Davis just stood back and chuckled to himself. She growled out her frustration. “What is so damn funny?” Demon was dressed in a white button down shirt and tight jeans with his old college sneakers. He was leaning up again the counter of the breakfast bar in the hotel. “Not sure how you’re going to handle the fan event today. You would swear the somebody has lost their edge.” She put her plate and put the little dweasel into a headlock. “Demon, how many times must we have this conversation?” For a girl, his twin sister had a hell of a grip. They were all alone in that room since they both get up at the crack of dawn. The twins were two feet away in the room, still asleep. Davis coughed. “Ok..You can’t blame me for saying something. It’s been a long time since you even looked a guy. When are you going to let it go? What happened was not your fault.”

“It’s not something you just get over, Davis.” He a put a hand on her shoulder and Jyn fought back at the tears that always seemed so close. “This isn’t going to fix anything, this isolation you have put yourself through.” Maybe he had a point but her list extracurricular activities was mainly training and the shooting range. It did change when the twins were born but not that much. Jyn wasn’t the party type and clubs just bored her to death. In their family, she was the academic, the child that they expected to a doctor or a lawyer. Ironic that she decided to make a living doing something so dangerous while her twin got the medical degree. “I’ll think on it.” She heard someone coming their way. They both instantly turned off the conversation, thinking no one heard. Someone had heard every word.

Her lucky day. Nick Nemoth (Ziggler) walked into the room, his blonde hair a tad messy with a bit of curl to it. Something about him just seemed greasy. Jyn didn’t trust him as far as she could throw him. Davis went to the room to bring Sabor and Stefan some breakfast while she filled two more plates for them both. Someone came up behind her, pinning her in place by placing both arms on either side of her. She turned around. “Something I can do for you?” He chuckled eyeing in a way that would get most men in serious trouble with her. “So Miss Muffet has a bit of edge. I hear you got stuck with Punk. The man is dull as dirt off camera…I would be happy to give you a few thrills.”

The audacity of this idiot astounded her completely. “Let’s something straight, I do not like you. Go bug someone else. A little bit of edge? I used to drop guys your size almost everyday. They all think they’re the ones to adjust my attitude. In the end, they all regret messing with me.” He must have seen the light because Nick backed off from her. Jyn added a few more things for Davis and herself and made a retreat to the room. Her bad mood instantly dissolve as those two little angels smiled up at her. They knee deep in chocolate chip pancakes. “What took you so long?” Jyn didn’t answer Davis. “Nemeth?” She nodded. The two of them definitely did not like each other. Davis almost came to blows with him when he caught Nick getting a little too rough with one of girls. Despite her twin’s playful demeanor, that was something he would never put up with. He was just as well trained as some of these guys and she trusted him to have her back in a fight.

“Mommy?” Sabor had her father’s eyes. “You and Mr. Punk boyfriend girlfriend?” Jyn could only deduce that either Davis or Tucker had let them stay up late. She chuckled. Her daughter’s innocence was refreshing and just made her the treasure she was. “No, baby. He’s not my boyfriend.” They all sat and ate breakfast at the little table the hotel provided. Davis was going to take the twins to the zoo. Advertisement said they a white tiger there.

Her first stop was to make up and wardrobe. Some of the Divas were doing the same, stylists going to town with the hairspray. And they say country people have big hair? “Reaper!” That got her attention fairly quickly. A tall woman dressing in jeans was directing her to the chair. Girly is not a word that described Jyn. These people put so much gunk on her face, she could have smothered. A long table had been set up with everyone having an assigned seat and of course she had been seat between the two men of the evening from the show. Jyn did get a little pale when she saw reporters. She had always had a massive dislike for them while working homicide cases.
Punk slid in next to her, effectively boxing her in. Either way she was screwed.

The fans were very sweet especially the children. One little boy got real shy with her so kissed his cheek. He gave her a little smile so precious. Punk had seen her smile and was a little distracted for a moment. Man, she’s pretty when she smiles. Wonder why she doesn’t do it that much. Nick spent most of their time there trying to make grabs on her ass or thigh. Jyn had to hurt him just a bit to teach him she had not given him permission for touchie feelies. Like that would ever happen. They breaked for lunch and once she came back Jyn saw a yellow daisy in her spot. There was a note : See? I can be sweet when I want to be. Punk She chuckled to herself. Jyn had made the mistake of underestimating that man. It took a lot to surprise her and he had this time.

Jyn had a lot of thinking to do when it came to Punk. Her life wasn’t exactly the calmest in the world and this new career change had put her in the spotlight even more. She may have misjudged him a little. Davis had everything packed when she got back and was playing PS3 with the twins watching with rabid interest on the bed. “They’re sending us to the Superdome.” A cold shot of panic hit her and Jyn’s face went as white as a ghost. This whole thing started because someone took a shot at her in a public place. None of her colleagues had able to pin down a suspect and witnesses were too frightened to come forward. “There is going to be added security patrolling and your only appearance is take 15 minutes. Linda would not let anything happen to you. The two of you are rather chummy. How did that happen?” As Jyn went into the bathroom she remarked, “A mutual love of The Bold and the Beautiful.

The four of them always took their own vehicle, an Astro van, which was perfect with all the stuff the twins had. Jyn still wasn’t too happy about going home. She did manage to contact Chief Peters, one of the people on this world she trusted without question, and he had already taken care of everything. The ride was pretty calm until they had stop for gas. In she went to pay for the gas then out he came from the door and had an arm around her waist. “Would figure you would have flown like everyone else.” Punk chuckled in her ear which was giving her goose bumps. “I’m not big on planes and Randy has always had a problem with flying so we take my car. “
That was actually kind of considerate which was kind skewing the mental image she had of him. “It’s better to drive with someone so you can take turns. No one likes to fall asleep at the wheel. Punk I need to pay the gas. Could you let me go?” He had no idea that his grip on had been so tight. Punk eased up and got a surprise when she kissed his cheek. “That was for the flower. Don’t let it go to your head.” As she walked away, Punk had a goofy smile on his face. He went back to his car and took the driver’s seat. Randy was just sitting there, shaking his head. “I do not believe it.” Punk just smirked. “You have got it bad.” It wasn’t like he could deny it. She was gorgeous, funny, smart and giving him wet dreams so intense that he was cumming in his sleep.

Randy waved a hand in front of Punk’s face. “Earth to Phil?” He just rolled his eyes and got back on the highway. Jyn bought the gas and a few other things: crossword puzzle book, funny sun glasses for the twins and a box of moon pies for Davis. The moon pies should last maybe an hour and a half. It boggled her mind how her twin could eat like farmhouse pig and still make the girls swoon when takes off his shirt. There was word out that one of the Divas was crushing on him real bad but was too shy to say anything. The time went on, Davis took over the driving. Jyn woke up to the twins’ excited giggles. Out the window she could see the Superdome and knew she was home. There a slight feeling of unease that chilled her. Those instincts had been ingrained in her at the academy. As a rookie, Jyn was impossible to shake when she had locked onto a suspect. It was one of the reasons they called her Reaper because there was no escaping Death.

They stayed on the ground floor at the Sheraton New Orleans hotel. Jyn was familiar with the layout and she knew some of the security staff personally. There was something going on with Vince. Some of the guys were giving her funny looks too. The hairs on the back of her neck were standing up, never a good sign. Only person that wasn’t acting odd was Punk and he was odd by nature. “Hey Cupcake, Did someone leave the television on in your room? I could hear kids giggling.” Jyn just shrugged and shook her head. It was a tad suspicious that he ended up in a room next door to hers but she had to hand it to him. Punk was persistent. Most men here were scared of her because of her reputation.

He whizzed pass her and sat down at a table with a pretty blonde. Just when I thought he might be a bit different than the rest. Jyn stayed in the lobby until she saw Joey, a corporate employee from her favorite pizza place . “I almost didn’t believe it when I saw the name on the ticket!” Joey was a cute semi-middle aged guy she met before the twins were born. In another time she would have considered him for a date but it wasn’t meant to be. She tried to hand him the money for the food but he pushed it away. “After everything you’ve done for this town? No way. It’s on us.” He placed the pan pizza on the side table and gave her a big hug. “Tell Demon I said Hi and gives those cuties a kiss from me too.” Seeing an old friend warmed her in a way.

“You always that friendly with the pizza guy or are you just that much of a cheese addict?” Jyn rolled his eyes. Someone is very nosey. “He’s an old friend of mine.” Punk was almost knocked back by how clipped she sounded. He looked back at the woman he had been talking to at his table and almost smirked. Someone’s jealous. If he had said it, she would have surely punch him in the face and probably do some damage too.
