Secrets to Drying Flowers

So I have them all in little bundles hanging upside down. Is there anything else I need to be mindful of? Is there anyway to enhance their appearance or make this process successful?

Since I've already hung them, should I take them down and dip them in the sugar water? I just dip the stem in the sugar water, I'm assuming?

Spray them with some really cheap aerosol hairspray (like aquanet)

Or, you can purchase silica (the stuff that's in the lil packet that says DO NOT EAT) at most hobby shops. Put the flowers in a container with some of that and they'll dry beautifully.
