I saw the Secretary on Oxygen a week or so ago, and it was on again a few days ago. I didn't see it when it was uncut, and I'm sure this version has been cut, but it does show some things I didn't really think it would show.
But, it's interesting that Oxygen is showing it, because that is a network that is centered around the woman's vantage point, I think. So, am I to believe this was/is a popular situation for women's fantasies? The boss that takes charge in this way?
By the way, I found the secretary (Maggie Gyllenhaal) quite sexy. I love her facial expressions and her um...drive. Actually, I think I'm in love.
I also thought James Spader was good, and I don't usually like him. I think I don't watch "Boston Legal" because of him. Oh, it could be William Shatner, too. There was a movie I saw Spader in called "Stargate", and I liked his acting there. I guess there's just something about him that rubs me the wrong way...not his fault, mine.
I know this movie has been talked about already, but I just thought it was interesting that Oxygen picked it up. I was under the impression it was a dark horse. Maybe I'm wrong. I did notice it got high ratings.
