Secret Lives (Closed)

She smiled and nodded to him as they walked out of the store. She helped them take the bags to the car then once everyone was away from them and they were away from the car she looked to him.

So is the car still in old town or where? And I think I would love a change of clothes.

She winked with a smile and her hand brushing against his side as she walked with him.

"Yes. The car is exactly where we left it." Everything they left in the car would also be there. "If you want to get into something more comfortable, I'm sure we can find something." He moved, eyes falling to her lips. It was clear he wanted to kiss her, but feared doing so without the cloak of disguise.

Well then let me make a couple of phone calls and we will be on our way.

Quickly placing a couple of calls getting things delivered home with carefully placed messages of finally being on a roll finding items she actually liked so she did not want to stop to run things home she smiled to Mason.

Lets go.

Mason had to resist the urge to take her hand. He quickly lead her through the parking garage and back to the rental car. Once again it was a matter of chancing into alternate clothes that Jasleena had been wise enough to purchase. "If you need me to buy anything to help, let me know. Tony can't monitor my expense as he can your own. He pays me well, and I honestly don't spend it on anyone else." He then focused on changing into 'Steve' as quickly as possible while thinking aloud. "I need a fake idea for Steve."

I am sure you can take care of that and he can only monitor card expenses not cash and Lorenzo keeps alot of cash set aside for me for just that reason.

She got into the mind set for Lyda and smiled once she was changed and ready.

So where to today Steve?

"Before I answer that question." He leaned in to kiss her. His hand found her cheek and held her to him for a long, hunger sating kiss. When all his worries and longing were finally satisfied he pulled away with a bright smile. "God, I've missed you." he kissed her again, this time for pleasure instead of need. "So, let's go to a bookstore. I've been looking for that new 'Diana Rowland' book." he quickly added, almost breaking character, "Don't judge."

Whimpering into the kiss and pressing back with just as much hunger and desire.

Never love.

She smiled walking with him to the book store.

The book store was one of those still trying to draw in a crowd. There was a cafe with snacks, coffee and deserts and no one seemed to mind that kids were littering the walls reading books they had no money to buy. The fact that some of them had a tall cup of coffee with them was enough to make up for it.

'Steve' held the door for Lyda and offered and arm. It was clear how much he enjoyed the closeness. "I like books. I know the whole eReader thing is catching on," he gestured to a display of small tablets near the entrance, "But there is just something nice about having the tactile. The feel of pages under my finger tips and the smell of the printed parchment."

I know... I like that too sometimes.

She curled in close against him as they walked. She felt safe with him. Almost safer in disguise than as herself with him as her Driver because in disguise she had no need to fear Tony nor any reason to think about him.

"Oh! Discount shelf." He moved ahead, taking her hand, and guiding her to the books with big bright stickers promising an additional 30-50% more off the reduced sticker price. "This is always dangerous. I still have books I haven't read yet." He showed her the cover of 'The Ocean at the End of the Lane' with a big 30% off stick in the corner. "I love his stuff." He muttered quietly.

While Steve and Lyda would probably have done this time and time again, Mason and Jasleena had not. It was a way of allowing one to explore another's interests without the interview process.

She smiled standing there with him. She glanced to memoir or two also on the shelf and pointed them out.

She had a very entertaining life while his was just tragic... I love both of those books.

He nodded, though more in understanding that agreement. Taking the moment to look at the books he made a mental note and took his book in one hand and her own in the other. "Come. I just want to check the Fantasy-SciFi section."

Sure lets go

She smiled and followed him care free and happy.

SO what are you looking for in Sci Fi?

"White Trash Zombie Apocalypse." He said, without missing a beat. Looking around he started following the order of the authors. Rowland would be on the other shelves. Turning he faced 'Lyda' and stepped closer. "I think the book's behind you." He moved his head, lining up for an inevitable kiss. "I guess I should ask nicely?"

Asking me to take a look or to move... would be nice of you but... I can think of nicer ways to ask...

She stared into his eyes her voice soft as her lips remained slightly parted loving feeling him so close to her.

"I hadn't decided what I'd ask, but..." He put his hands on the bookshelves on either side of her and moved in for a long, deep kiss. "I should start with; May I..." another equally passionate kiss, "Please?" he kissed her again, this time lingering with what seemed to be no intention of stopping to finish his sentence.

For the briefest moment being "trapped" like that she tensed. Her heart fearful racing even into the befinning of the kiss. Remembering Tony doing her just like that in his study trapping her the only difference now was there was no hand finding its way to her throat nor was she suddenly finding herself slamming into another wall. She whimpered her eyes staring deep into his between kisses calming slowly till she could kiss him back.

Feeling her kiss back almost took him by surprise. 'Steve' held the kiss but lightened up to let her press into him. Hands finder her hips he hugged her to him, removing her from the shelves. He turned and pinned himself against them, still drawing her in. After a long moment he broke the kiss and then placed one on her neck.

Moving to hug her he shifted his body weight and produced a hard bound novel with a skin pale haired girl on the cover. Diana Rowland's "White Trash Zombie Apocalypse"

"Okay. I found it." He said playfully.

She curled into him pulling her closer and once the kiss was broken she smiled to him and glanced at the book with a smile.

Good now where to Steve?

"Are you hungry? We could get something here or find a nice European cafe." He took her hand and started heading to the check out counter. "I picked the bookstore, it should be your turn."

One of those authentic English pub/chip shops

Her eyes lit up as she talked she loved this and the ability to go places that she normally would not be able to go to. She especially loved this with him.

"OH! I know the BEST place for Fish and Chips with imports on tap. How does that sound?" He checked out and took the keys from 'Lyda'. He then drove her away from Old Town and through downtown to one of the obscure parts favored by Hipsters and Artists. It was the kind of are that had shops which didn't advertise. Patrons simply knew where to find what they were looking for.

The pub he'd wanted was the Black Lab with the silhouette of a Labrador retriever on it's sign. He opened the door for her, showing a dark interior of real wood accented with brass. "There's not hostess. Just... pick a table."

She quickly found a table. As quiet as she could and remotely private

Here I like this one.

Walking to the table she smiled to the server who walked over.

He sat, handing her a menu from the table and dove right into ordering a drink. "Can I get a pint of Newcastle, and whatever my lady would like." He flashed his dining companion a smile.

Once drinks were ordered he took her hand, holding it while the thumbs the menu with the other. "I'm really only looking at appetizers and desert. I never order anything but the fish and chips when I'm here. I have yet to find anyone who does it even half a good, so why deny myself the pleasure?"

That's fine. Lets just go with a couple of those.

She smiled and looked over the menu though really not too interested in too much food right now. She reached her hand to take his hand looking into his eyes.
