I got these ground breaking revelations from a little know magazine where hard-core enthusiasts get detailed expert analysis and the latest technical information on military events relating to airforces and aircraft.

In an article of the November 2001 issue of Airforces Monthly magazine there is an article titles War in the Shadows which is written by one of those people who worked in the aforementioned darkness so is privy to the sort of information that the government denies us when they so feel like it. Before I reveal what secrets he had to divulge let me first point out the authors credentials.

This guy is "in the know", his name is Ronald Lewis. Ronald is an honor graduate of the US armed forces Air Intelligence Training Center and has spent over 6-years as an imagery interpreter and instructor. He served six years as a US aircraft weapons technician, later served in the Army National Guard as an award-winning Intelligence Analyst, and completed a tour with the Air force National Guard as an imagery interpreter and trainer.

Now for the stuff the media and government KEPT from the news covered-up or just neglected to report to us at the time.

On April 19, 1995 the federal building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was destroyed by a massive truck bomb. Two former US Army soldiers, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, were convicted. McVeigh claimed that the bombing was meant as retaliation for the deaths of Branch Davidian cult members during a federal siege of their compound at Waco in 1994, but a later essay by McVeigh would not mention Waco even once. Instead he ranted about deaths of Iraqi children under UN sanctions, which had been a staple of Iraqi anti-sanctions propaganda for years. Terry Nichols had ties to Abu Sayyef in Manila. Initial suspicions of Iraqi involvement in the Oklahoma City (OKC) bombing were erroneously dismissed. 'Only' 168 were killed and their deaths were blamed on disgruntled ex-soldiers tied to US militia groups.

And who are the Abu Sayyef guerrillas? Why they are the Islamic fundamentalists were have just recently sent 660 US Special Forces to the Philippines to battle with. Remember all that evidence about other people who rented the truck and helped the bombers but suddenly the government did a 180 on and denied their existence and involvement? Well now you know why, "its the economy stupid" and Billy boy Clinton did not want ANYTHING to distract us from the domestic good times and the illusion of peace and relative prosperity that we were enjoying. So we sat on our ass as a war was being waged against us so that we could enjoy an artificial clamminess and not have to do anything about it all.

There’s more..

Six months later, the US House of Representatives passed a bill to tighten sanctions on Iran for its continued support of terrorism, particularly of Hezbollah in Lebanon. Despite warnings from Iran that it would consider such actions an 'act of war', the bill was passed on June 13, 1996. Two weeks later, bin Laden's forces teamed up with Hezbollah and drove a massive truck bomb to the US Air Force barracks compound in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, detonating in thereon the night of June 25, 1996. That attack 'only' killed 19 US airmen and wounded hundreds of other allied airmen. It would have been much more deadly had it not been for an alert USAF security policeman who sounded the alarm. The attack took place on the night of a new moon, when it would be darkest, enabling the attackers to escape detection for a few more precious seconds. A month later, on the day after the US Senate finished the legislation which would ultimately become known as the Iran-Libya Sanctions Act of 1996, a warning was faxed to London saying that the mujahideen would respond and amaze the world. That night, which also featured the increased darkness of a new moon, TWA 800 was destroyed. It was shot down, it was hit by a missile and the missile was launched by Usama bin Laden's forces. 'Only' 230 people were killed and the deaths were attributed to an accidental fuel tank explosion.
The only US response to the above acts was the June 1993 cruise missile attacks on the Iraqi Intelligence directorate's headquarters for its reported involvement in a plot to kill former president George Bush during a planned visit in Kuwait in April 1993. That attack involved 23 missiles which were fired at night to minimize casualties. A weak response, it only encouraged more attacks.
In September 1996, four USAF B-52s flew up the Persian Gulf as part of Operation DESERT STRIKE, a mission to fire AGM-86 air-launched cruise missiles (ALCMs) at southern Iraq. This was officially described as punishment for Saddam Husseins attacks on Iraqi Kurds in the north-but there was a curious twist. Each M-52 was escorted by four Navy carrier-launched F-14 Tomcats which had originally been slated to drop bombs themselves. Instead, they were ordered to stand down their air-to-ground ordnance, replace it with a full load of air-to-air weaponry and fly as escorts for the B-52s. The B-52s would fire from stand-off ranges that kept them well away from any potential Iraqi threat and all of the other countries in the Gulf were considered friendly, with one exception-Iran. The ACLMs were of no value to the Kurds in the north and were essentially wasted, being fired at the wrong kind of targets for their particular warheads. Either the mission had been a colossal screw-up and a wasted effort, or Iraq was never intended as the real target The truth is that those missiles were a signal to Iran-the same B-52s turning left to fire on Iraq today can just as easily turn right and hit Iran tomorrow. Stop! Iran apparently got the message. There would b no further terror strikes against US interests until August 7,1998, when the embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed.

There is allot more in this article, but you get the idea. These were all like strange puzzle pieces when they happened, but after reading this they all seem to fit together and make sense. I remember that missile strike when the Kurds were being attacked and the collective response from the media was "what the hell did they do that for". Now it all comes together, that is why those missiles were used in a high visibility target that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the Kurds being repressed in the North by The Republican Guard and why it had no effect on the forces arrayed against them and did such little actual damage in the end result.

This sucks! We've been being "shitted on" for a lack of better term by Iraq and Iran frequently in the last decade and have done nothing about it. Maybe they did not feel they had enough evidence to connect the dots to satisfy the anti-American socialists in the court of World opinion for a military strike. I say who gives a damn, maybe if we did something back during TWA flight 800 or Dhahran we would have never had a fucking WTC attack! I also shudder and wonder what would have happened IF ONLY ONE PLANE HAD HIT THE TOWER! If it had been a single plane would we even now sit in blissful ignorance of the danger we face while our government and the media comfortingly reassured us it had been a navigation accident? God, I’m so pissed, we had a right to know even if it was only hearsay, conjecture and circumstantial evidence-we still should have been informed so we could form our own opinion on what happened! Now I REALLY wonder about this "accidental" and "mysterious" West Nile virus that suddenly appeared out of the damn thin air in New York and has rapidly spread throughout the Eastern United States! Have we already been attacked with biological weapons long BEFORE the recent Anthrax letter campaign?

(I'm pasting this to several boards so forgive the EZcodes for quotes that will not work here).

Bullshit!

You are so full of it Dixon! You KNEW about the bomb loads of the F-14 Tomcat and how they were switched to air-to-air ordnance at the last minute?! You KNEW about all those key congressional votes and their proximity to the aforementioned incidents?! You KNEW about Iran declaring the provision of sanctions an act of war? You KNEW about the Bin Laden boast/threat the night of the TWA-800 crash?! You KNEW of Terry Nichols link to the Abu Sayyef Islamic rebel group in the islands of the Southern Philippines? You KNEW how Timothy McVeigh never mentioned Waco in his final essay but derided our sanctions on Iraq endlessly?!

Well, I guess you must be God or something and the rest of us are morons because you purport to be all knowing. What other secrets are you withholding from us skippy?

Yes, Skippy, I've read all that before.

LOL

No, not all of it. Most of it. We've all heard these "connections" before. In fact, much of what you're ranting about can be found right now on ABCnews.com. Calm down. Big Brother's not out to get you.

well

I knew MOST of it before too, BUT it was the tiny little details here and there that I did NOT know about that were left out that connect the dots here to something more sinister. This information was all buried in a little known technical magazine (for a small niche market) and not out in the open press or on the Internet. When I read it it was like those key little details were the missing puzzle pieces to put together this mosaic of attacks. It's the little details in these things that are damning and really count; all the main events I was well aware of as I follow International news in great detail.

"Connecting the dots" presented in such a spurious manner is a bit like looking for Waldo in a Rorshach ink blot, eventually you're gonna find exactly what you want to find.

(By the way, you didn't deserve the snot inherent in the "Skippy" salutation -- I was obviously transfering some righteousness I had left over from bitch slapping the latest Unregistered for taking the requisite "commie" swipe at Laurel and Manu. My apologies.)

Flight 800

Was flying too high to be hit by any missile that could possibly be possessed by Bin Laden.

The empty center fuel tank(full of jet fuel vapor) tank at the juncture of the wings and fuselage, which is as big as your standard living room, blew up.

Planes do crash due to mechanical error or human error or weather or as acts of God...

Not everyone is a terrorist attack.

Now...where is my "Dot to Dot Fun" book? I have to finish Dino and Fred

The reason this article was so interesting and revealing was because an Air force Analyst whose job would entail advising on such things as air crashes and shoot downs wrote it. In addition, he was in military Intelligence so he would be privy to secret information that the rest of us would not know. I listen to authorities on the subject rather than media conjecture and if this guy thinks it’s a shoot-down, than so do I.

Ok then, how high was Flight 800 flying at then? I don't know as of right now (although I can probably look it up on the Internet if I wanted too). I DO know that Bin Laden has access to Stingers, and Russian SA-7 Grails, SA-14 Gremlins, and SA-16 Gimlet shoulder-launched surface to air missiles, as well as the older US Redeye systems and British Javelin and Blowpipe models as well. So that is a wide variety there for different possibilities regarding maximum altitude tolerances and ranges.

Air Forces Monthly? OMG!! LMFAO!! Oh stop, I can't breathe, it's so funny.

Did you really think that anything truly "secret" would be published in print and online where virtually anyone can get to it? Yeah, right! The mag is a joke. You can find one just about anywhere on base. Usually completely unread. For a reason!

Any conclusion can be reached if you know what you want it to be. Just include the right events, and exclude all others. Voila! Instant conspiracy.

Get lost.

Flight 800

was shoot down by the U.S. They were testing missles off the coast of Long Island. One locked on to flight 800 and took it down. A lot of people saw it. The government covered it up and blamed it on the tanks. It was then a non issue.

The Miracle Mets of '69? Little magnets under the Infield. The opposing teams were fed rice with iron the night before the games. Everything was controlled from a box with three levers by the Peanut Vendor in the Blue Section behind Third. He also controlled Gigantor. More later...

Frimst, any time anyone says, "I had access to top secret info," your bullshit alram should go ballistic. People who have top secret security clearances do not advertise what they learned because of that clearance. If they were the type to do that, they would NOT have gotten that high a clearance.

(I never had anything higher than a Secret clearance myself, but I knew many people who had TS clearances -- I couldn't get anything TS put of them even when I had a "need to know.")

He never said he did

I just assumed so, it would make sense and be logical that if he was an intelligence analyst he would have some kind of secret clearance.

Intelligence analysts don't blab either. Until you can verify from at least three different sources that someone like this twit is what he claims, your bullshit meter should be pegged.

I can tell you that I spent 21 years in the USAF, but there is absolutely no reason you should believe me -- My seven-year-old granddaughter can type that claim as well as I can. Likewise any halfwit who wants you to believe his conspiracy theory can claim to be anything that will help you buy his load of bullshit.

I know that the bad insulation explanation for Flt 800 exploding is very probable -- I've worked with the type of wire blamed and it is exactly as described in the news reports. I'm sure that if you were to do some real research on the web, you could find at least three independent sources on that type of wire being replaced in various types of aircraft, so you don't have to take my word for the plausibility of that explanation.

Get with it, Thumper

Flight 800 wass the first successful shoe bombing incident. Insider sources say the last crash too, the turbulence crash. They have an unreleased video tape which shoes it.

They only caught the guy with sweaty feet.

That's what I read.

All I was in the Air Force was a cop. I also played infantry if and when the base was attacked. Do you know how much shit I know about, that never made the papers? Hell every solider or sailor knows a bunch of stuff that never sees the light of day. Real vets don't talk about that stuff. We don't talk about fighting and killing. We don't talk about secrets.

When we leave we sign this sheet of paper, that says we go jail, directly to jail, do not pass go, if we ever talk about any of this shit. They don't need us to sign, but we do.

For anyone to say anything in a national forum about military secrets, full of shit. And the jerk at the end of the bar who talks about his days as a Navy SEAL, or Spec Ops, full of shit.

Thats like hitting on a girl by saying your with or used to be with, the CIA.

Ok...but what color were they?

You're right Sin!!!

Don't know why I didn't see that before. Musta been some dude in C-4 jackboots! :D

*my subject reference is from that ancient Disney flick, "The Aristocats", where the two dogs are discerning the nature of the intruder they hear*

"Oxfords, size nine and a half, hole in the left sole it sounds like"

Unregistered...what people saw was the flaming fuselage of the plane after the explosion. After the forward section was sheared off, the plane, while still under full power, tilted upwards and began a rapid climb. The explosion was seen before it could be heard due to the distance involved. Thus giving the appearance of a missile (the upward trajectory of a burning plane) strike.

You really think the navy could keep a shipful of men quiet on something like this?

Gimme a break.
