Ah.. the game I'm playing now online, Dungeon Runners.. it's been compared a LOT to Diablo. People have actually said in the world chat that it's better than Diablo. It's kind of like World of Warcrack (I'm one of the ones that HATES WoW) as well. It's free to play, and you can actually do quite a bit for free.. and then it's 5 bucks a month to get the membership (basically, you can have the kick ass health, mana, armor, weapons, etc etc) plus, it's not like WoW where you HAVE to finish a level in order to quit. You can pretty much stop playing at any point and pick back up.

Now I've got my babes playing on there with me. He's addicted *snickers* .. It's fun, we can team up and do the voice chat on there.. run around and kill things together

You should check it out sometime if you think you'd have the time for it once in a while
