It was a nice trip, and the drive back was much better than the one over, now the kids are down, and almost time for daddy to go to bed, 4 am comes really early!

Ye Gods! 4a.m.? That's like 2a.m. here! Sometimes I'm just going to bed at that hour (4a.m.); while at others, I'm still cutting logs. It just depends on what type of day I had as to whether I can fall asleep early or not.

Quiet evening! Kids finished dinner and one is doing homework while the other is in the shower.... and then it will switch. Tomorrow, the local inspector should be by to sign off on the deck, so the guys can fill in the holes and put the finishing touches on.

I may go take a nice bubbly bath in a little while.... we'll see.

Bath was nice.... and relaxing. I did finish the book that I was reading.
Book recommendation for TRP.... Bright Lights, Big Ass by Jen Lancaster. It is one of the funniest books that I've read in a LONG time. You know that it is good when you are reading a book and laughing so that tears are coming out of your eyes! My son thought I was crying - until I started reading parts to him.... and he was laughing hysterically. (actually - he took the book from me tonight and sat on the sofa reading and laughing)

I don't read any tear jerkers and not normally "chick" books. I thought this one had potential to be the latter - but it isn't at all. I laughed the ENTIRE time reading it.... hard! It's in the form of her "diary" and emails. My son even read parts of it - laughing the whole time.
