It's been a nice weekend here. The male child is camping with boy scouts this weekend - so it is a "girl's weekend".... and the hubby is living separate in Raleigh. You HAVE to love an upscale restaurant that knows you. You are told that the wait is 35 to 45 minutes.... and 10 minutes later, the girl comes up to you to tell you that your table is being made up... so sorry for the wait. My daughter, best friend and I just went to dinner at this restaurant tonight. NICE.

Honey - shopping without children is really almost as good as an orgasm. I remember... all too well.

Hello AF, cant say we know to much about upscale restaurants at this house. I have only been to a few and those were neat. TRP has enlightened me somewhat in the last 14 years. Sounds like you had a nice evening though.

Shopping without the youngins' was pretty nice. Anytime we need to actually spend a little time looking around and trying to by those big purchases, we like to do it sans kids. After all they are good kids, but its asking alot for two little ones that young to be perfectly patient while mommy and daddy hem and haw over buying something or not.
