Second time around

;) Those Speedos are upstairs as we speak. They are more dark blue then the ones I looked at the first time, but I think they are very nice. Now let's see if I can pull off wearing them...

:rose: here is another for the vase. My money is on you and you pulling through this. :)

I am doing ok. Waiting on news from TRP, she had to take the little man of the house to the hospital, seems the boy didn't believe daddy when I said you could get hurt climbing up the slide the wrong way, now he has a broken arm, and they might have to operate....

Awesome! Royal Blue or Dark Blue - legano, nil legano. I'll wager a $2 bet that You wear them, at some point on your cruise.

I am sooo sorry to hear about the little man of the house GentleOne. :( I hope he won't need the surgery. Unfortunately however... it seems as if all kids must, at some point while growing up, experiment with 'selective hearing'. *sighs slowly* Do You want a laugh at my expense? ;)

Be glad the young man did not decide to discover just how slick wax paper is! *L* I seem to remember a group of us kids, when in grade school, took the wax paper that our sandwiches had been wrapped in and sliding down the slide whilst sitting ON the paper and we ended up waxing the metal slide! When it came my turn to 'have a go'... I flew down the slide and flew off the edge of the slide and landed on a rock that was embedded in the ground... spraining my tail bone!

It's as funny as ever now - but NOT when it happened!

Oh NO! As the mother of a 14yo boy.... they do survive this stage. I don't know how... but they do. (and they still don't believe us... and just get "hurt" in other ways)
*hugs* to all of you.... and to the PIA it will be to keep a little boy from messing with his cast.

TO all thanks for the well wishes, he is ok, laughing and upset cause it took only about 8 hours or so to get his cast. But on the bright side, he fractured the top bone and will only need to be in a cast for 3 weeks or so. Not to bad after all and he gets that cool Tylenol with codeine to keep his spirits up.

Thanks again.

Whoa! That's some heavy duty stuff for the little man to be taking GentleOne. I'm glad to know it was the top bone, not the lower one, and that he will only have to be in a cast for 3 weeks :) - versus having surgery - and then being in a cast until Christmas! :( That wouldn't have been any fun... to be in a cast on Christmas! :(

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say thanks for the well wishes for the little man. He's doing really well and at home resting today. VGO and I really appreciate everything! Thanks! TRP

And lets say he is even more mello with that stuff kickin' in his veins.

Any thing big planned for the weekend? More bathroom work here.

Tylenol codeine....Oh my!

That is a lot for the little man, but he is just fine, in fact he was playing so much in the hospital they had to ask what was wrong. (but then they saw the splint.) 3 weeks is nothing with a cast, so we will be back to normal in no time.

Take care Victoria. :rose:

Let's just say this is a packed weekend. Scouts is going to be pretty heavy and then extra practices for the dance company.
Today was spent deep cleaning the house and then errand stuff that I just don't enjoy.

Glad to hear the he's doing OK, though. Poor little guy. I'm glad that it is only 3 weeks that he has to wear it. Doesn't sound that bad. (Kids are really hard to break, ya know)

*hugs*

Sounds like you do have your hands and plate full.

I am headed up to start my ongoing project.

I am glad to know the little man is doing good. Playing so much that they had to ask what was wrong? Goodness! Sounds like even the splint wasn't going to slow him down any. :) These three weeks will fly by GentleOne... and it sounds as if he's on the road to getting "back to normal" already! That's wonderful news Sir.

How about a few images to start your Saturday with?

:catroar: My favourite types of 'images' GentleOne. :catroar: Thank you for sharing those. Love the use of b/w film though. It makes images/pictures far more 'artsy' and the detail seems more vivid.

Of course... great subject matter is always important too! ;)

Had to put some artsy ones up after showing all that stuff in the other pics :D

And are you saying I am great subject matter????
