Secession

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Nevertheless, there are laws against sedition that the SCOTUS has upheld.

Truth is, he saw some pro-life conservatives on TV and then from within a choking cloud of Cannabis smoke he conjured up a hallucination of a crazy Christian amen corner jumping up and shouting, "...how much better things would be if we just replaced hospitals and schools with churches."

Hey...defund schools, anti health care.....will be damned if we take "in god we trust" off of ANYTHING.

Republicans aka "conservatives" think God>education and health care...

It's how your party votes, it's what they advocate.

Wonder where I got the idea

Truth is, he saw some pro-life conservatives on TV who want to cut off education funding and can't stand the idea of any type of public healthcare as it's all socialist filth and lynch them homosexuals that are ruining Murikuh with their abomination!!!

These fools never wanna talk about the churches that worship gays and illegals and ordain gals and all the other progressive claptrap they luv so much.

What they don't consider is, when I was a child in the Deep South we laughed our asses off at some of the same denominations. Now we laugh at all of them. Clowns to the left, jokers to the right...

They aren't trying to tell me what to consume and who to fuck under penalty of law. There's this whole 'freedom' thing they have going on....

You're the genius who printed, "What really happened to the Dinosaurs", aren't you?

They ridicule the belief of others from their prostrated position of fealty before the pulpit of The Church of Statism.
I don't mean to be pedantic, but on our road trip, I might be tempted to recommend certain revisions to your vocabulary.

Would that be okay?

Or would one of us have to walk and the other one take the car?

I have relatives in Phoenix.

His word of the day calendar trends to fail him when he's heated.

We can talk about it all we want.

There are limits. It's perfectly legal for someone to talk about murdering Democrats and hanging them from lamp posts, as long as they don't say they are going to do this to the highest ranking elected Democrat.

Ah yes, the First Amendment. I'd have expected eyer to post that one. Freedom of Speech is constitutionally granted to us as a Fundamental Right, however one restriction is any secessionist movement or support (even verbal) of such an attempt as it is a threat to the integrity and sovereignty of India (I've paraphrased).

Technically no....neither the far left or right wing has gotten enough power to do that one yet.

And yes...we should just let the south go...if they all bounce out they can feed off TX until they bleed it dry and the rest of the US will finally be relieved of the parasites that are the GOP.

Have no idea what you mean. In fact quite a number of the responses here have made me feel like I need a crash course in American civics to follow what's being said (thank you all for making me feel ignorant).
