Searching for Legends {closed for FireyIce}

Walking in she closed the door sitting down waiting for him to get ready.

She is very old and remembers the Black kings when they were infants and knows quite abit about the three and their family lines.

Tobin came out a little bit later wearing some normal clothes. He didn't know if he should be dressed up or not for meeting her. "So she should be able to tell if I'm from the Black King's lineage or not?" he inquired. "I'm ready to go whenever you are."

Trust me you are not from their lines but she can tell if you are from one of the three Elementalis.

Nodding she headed towards the door

Okay lets go.

Tobin followed Eden as they headed out of the hotel. He felt the cool, crisp air as they started to make their descent down towards the base of the mountain. The path seemed to be a little bit easier going down than heading up. As they got closer to the bottom Tobin could start to see Steele at the bottom waiting for them.

Steele nodded to them as Eden shifted and looked back at them for a moment.

She will lead the way I will follow her scent and you will follow me... try to keep up and watch your step. Eden try to stick to some of the old trails so he does not take too much damage.

With that she nodded and took off running through the trees and up the mountain.

Tobin watched as Eden started to shift again into a panther. He didn't realize that she was going to be running, followed by Steele. "Oh, shit," he mumbled to himself as he started to run as well, following Steele and Eden as they went up the mountain. He didn't have time to think about where they were going without the fear of getting lost.

Eden stopped a few times the longest stop being a little over half way up. She stood their snarling staring all around them. Steele crouched down near her.

Take a deep breath and calm... look only to the left or right path nothing else around you is what you sense. Focus my friend.

She nodded and with a snoring began sniffing the two paths several times before roaring and running again up the left path with Steele in tow.

The way should be easier walking but her magics distort which way to go.

Tobin was surprised at how well he managed to keep his pace. He was surprised at the face Eden stopped. "So is there some kind of magical energy blocking her senses?" he asked while Eden was trying to focus. He figured the best thing he could do was to find out as much as possible as he caught his breath.

Not blocking just Adryanna's magical wards are designed to confuse and manipulate the senses.

Steele almost seemed to look around with a snarl.

They can make you think something is around that you do not want to be around or just make senses go haywire.

Eden snarled but continued down the path pausing every now and then and shaking her head as if to clear it and continuing on. Finally they reached the near top of the mountain opening onto a lavish plateau shelf with a house that could have been drawn straight from Gone with the Wind. Various spirits and apparitions seeming to wander the grounds as Eden snarled her fur raising as she moved between them till a little boy his clothes would make his ghost perhaps 2-3 hundred years old though he looked little more than perhaps 6 or 7 years old. He spoke to her.

Kitty lady... why you here... you brought fang man and...

Suddenly he was standing before Tobin his head tilted watching him.

You are a grown up why are you confused? You are kinda like the people in the town... but you are like the family that lived here... some of them at least. Like the mean lady but she can't hurt anyone now. The house likes Adryanna not her so it only listens to Adryanna... She was my uncles daughter but the mean lady did not like her since she was not his daughter with her.

An old woman of a ghost wearing old world maids clothes walked over shooed the little boy away and smiled.

Miss Adryanna... she is out be the cliff... you can talk to her there... The house is a little too active for guests.

Eden nodded and shifting she smiled.

Thank you Dalia. Lets go guys.

She turned walking towards the cliffs. She had her suspicions of why Adryanna seemed to spend so much time there but it was not her p[lace to say or guess.

Tobin continued to follow until they got up to the top of the mountain. He took in the scene as he saw all of the the ghosts. He became a little surprised when he saw the ghost show up before him. He didn't know what to say as the ghost mentioned the people that use to live here. Luckily, he didn't have to answer as the other ghost sent him away.

Tobin listened as Eden talked to the other ghost. He felt the cool breeze as he continued to watch the conversation take place. He started to follow Eden and Steele as they went towards the edge, trying to figure out what was in store for him.

She paused as they neared the woman clearly native american even though a ghost.

Adryanna... I have brought the half breed... is he of the Elementalis?

The ghost turned and suddenly was standing before him.

Fire... Though not from the Elementalis of Fire... No... Not a dark born offspring either... If he is of their line it is of the Water Elementalis... Talia... yet... not of any mate I know of hers... strange?

Tobin listened as Eden asked her questions to Adyranna. He was hoping that the ghost would have more answers to the questions he was wanting to ask. Tobin was a little taken back when the spirit moved over and looked at him. He could feel some of the cold resonating from her onto himself as she spoke.

We can consult the the waves... perhaps the water know of another mate that the Water Elemantalis had.

Adryanna continued to look at him seeming look through him.

No... perhaps a grandchild that is possible as well.

"So how rare is it for someone to have two elemental powers?" Tobin asked the ghost. He was curious to see what kind of lineage this was from and maybe there was a way to find out how to use his powers better. He never thought he would be in this kind of predicament before today, talking to a ghost.

Two... interesting what elementals would that be?

Adryanna watched him head tilted for a moment. He was on the Water Elementalis perhaps a grandchild. Though this talk of two elements was interesting.

"Fire and ice," Tobin replied. "You can even ask Eden and Steele. They saw both of them work." He looked over to the two of them and then told the spirit, "just ask them." He wasn't sure why he needed to justify this so much to the spirit but figured it was worth it.

The ghost paid no attention to Eden nor Steele as she listened and looked to the ethers around the one who spoke to her.

Grandchild of Elementalis Talia of water. Offspring of the child she carried through death... fire gave back the childs life... He is of the Elementalis

"So what does that mean exactly?" Tobin asked. "Just that I can use these elements?" He wasn't sure what else to expect with what would come next. He was already getting more answers than he expected.

Steele studied him as Eden watched warily. Adryanna looked to him.

Yes... you are half breed... mortal with elementalis ribbon through your being

"So do people look at half breeds differently?" Tobin asked. "Is there someone who can help me learn how to use my powers better?" He knew he had a lot of questions and that it was going to take some time to figure out how to control his powers. Hopefully the spirit would have some good answers for him, he thought to himself.

Time... and patience will be your training. There are not really any like you around not even here. It will take time for people to accept first that you are like any of them then that you are not an outsider. You do intend to remain within this ancient city correct?

She seemed to fade a little and reformed as she waited for an answer.

Tobin watched as the spirit faded a bit. "I guess I'll have to stay. I don't want anything terrible to happen because I didn't know how to use my powers," he admitted. "How will I get the others to accept me? And who is going to help train me?" he asked, a little nervous about being viewed as more of an outsider.

Time... patience...

She looked to Steele and Eden.

They can aid but time and patience. I need rest now. Leave

Eden wasted no time in grabbing a hold of Tobin and Steele's arms and nodding to the ghost and began to drag them away from the cliff and back to the path.

For some reason Tobin was still a little surprised at how strong Eden was. He hurried with her and Steele back to the path. When they got there he asked, "So what are we going to do now?" He looked at both of them and waited for a response, feeling a little bit nervous at everything that had recently transpired.

Steele just followed.

We get off the mountain while her powers are relaxed so we can get back before nightfall. Mortals even half breeds do not need to be on this mountain after nightfall.

Eden looked over. Some of the more feral shape shifters call this place home and mortals they endure during the day but at night it is their sanctuary. Even I don't come here late at night.
