Searching for an Av

Going to start planning now, where's the best place to find an Av, I've seen some fantastic fantsay characters so far and would like to see more. If anyone can tell me where to find some either pm me or reply. I would prefer a PM until I get more familier with the layout of the board

Try a google image search. Perhaps you should enjoy reading and posting to the board before you get concerned with an av.

There are plenty of web sites with graphics that can be used as an Av. Just do a google search along whatever theme you are thinking of and find a few pics you are happy with. Size doesn't really matter as the pic can be resized - although it is better to resize down than to resize up.

Once you have enough posts, and are ready to use an Av, then someone here will be happy to help you if you need help converting/resizing a pic. There are a few tricks to that - but there is no sense in getting into it until you are ready to use an Av.

If you are looking for an animated Av then do a search for "animatd GIF" and you will find loads of stuff. Otherwise, if you want an Av along a certain theme, like a particular person or character, then do a search on that name and add "GIF" and "JPEG" or "photo" and "picture" to the search.
