I've done things I look back at now and say were extravagant, but the effort was to realize even more, or at least to break even. Maybe your education was free, I don't know. Most parents I know don't send their kids to institutions of higher learning to emerge as truck drivers. Just sayin', and nobody loves the open road more than me.

I was 38 when I took my LLB, my parents didn't have a lot to do with it. And if I'd gone to uni with the idea of making money, I wouldn't have read physics. I went because I loved the subject for itself. Something worth far more, although I think you're fundamentally incapable of understanding the concept.
