Scottish accents

I've got a female one. Not sure if people like that or not. I've posted vocaroos and been described as 'dulcet'

I would love to hear your dulcet Scottish brogue. I am certain yours is much sexier than Craig Ferguson or Dario Franchitti. ;)

I lived in Glasgow for six years and had Scottish girls who drove me wild with their assets and their accents. Still find Scottish accent such a turn on

A survey by banking organisations found that Scottish accents are more trusted for financial telephone sales than any other UK accent.

That is, if the customer can understand the Scot.

Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Belfast and other regional accents scored low on intelligibility and perceived trustworthiness, but higher than upper-class Hooray Henry voices.

Some months I had a phone call from my bank querying a recent transaction paid in US dollars. They were checking that it was genuinely made by me. It was.

The young lady on the telephone had a mixture of Indian sub-continent and Birmingham accents. From her it sounded delightful but I think it was the tone of her voice and her helpfulness more than the accents. She was polite, efficient and friendly. Professionalism counts more than the sound of the voice.

National Tartan Day

Accents did you know it was National Tartan Day here in Canada ....would that be a scottish accent Bond style or more from the kind Jamie speaks to Claire

Next you'll be wanting a thread called 'Let's hear you moaning Scots' to go with 'Let's hear women moan' and 'Men that moan' :p lol
