Do people actually meet from these personals? A post from a 24-year old blonde will bog down with 5 pages of replies, but a post from a guy will sit there lonely with no answer.

I'm not naive enough to miss the fact that men outnumber women here (although I'd guess that readership is a lot more balanced when it comes to the stories), but still... is the whole personals board nothing more than horny men jumping on any woman who posts anything sexual?

Are there women out there that reply to male posts?

I posted a personal a long time ago, and got no replies...and thought the same as you. Then, I got really bored, and posted pics. And believe me, lots of ladies, lovely ladies, appreciative ladies. Just have to word it right.

Contrary opinion

It may seem that there is an over abundance of men on here. Surely there are a few young men who jump on any thread that offers the remotest chance of sexual interaction. However, I have corresponded with several absolutely delightful women, women who are dynamic and multi dimensional. They can converse on a wide range of topics and, when the situation warrants, can get as down and dirty as any man. We live in a culture where women have been trained to be more circumspect about sexual disclosure. Until things change, let's cherrish the ones who brave the waters of literotica where they get hit on just as crudely and relentlessly as they do in the world outside. I think you are preaching to choir here.

Have to agree with SteveWill,

It has alot more to do with what you say. I am sure every woman has heard, either here or in the real world, the usual lines. Many being just slightly less crude than some of the things on here. Some times that works if that is what a woman is looking for but most women on here want to see some creativity and just a smidgen of intelligence behind a posting.

So if you post a personal and want a repsonse think it through beyond the usual man, cock, sex line(of course if that works what the hell, why not).

I think the difference is that women will send a PM or email instead of posting here.

Not to mention the fact that most people are not sure if all of this is on the up and up.

Women are more likely to send PMs... that's interesting.
