Firstly People i know that there are aspects of this survey that are missing here, i only posted the actually questions here in the hope to get a wide range of people responding. I will post my complete research/article once it is compiled.

This sruvey has also been posted on a number of other bulletin boards and not only at porn sites! I am of course limited in the sites on which i can post due to the content of the survey.

This my first attempt at trying to do anything quite on this scale so give me a break here! If you're not interested just pass it by! The problem is, your survey is so broad, it's hard to believe that anyone would take it seriously, not to mention taking the 2-3 hours it'll take to fill it out. And it's so general and unfocused that it really seems like you're just fishing for dirty stories.

For example, how would the information you gather from a question like "Would you ever date a porn star?" fit into an overview of changing sexual mores? Would you conclude that more people now would be willing to date a porn star than ever before? It just seems like you're throwing every question you can think of against a wall and seeing what sticks.

Why don't you scale it down to how the internet has affected sexual behavior? Then you can reduce the number of questions and focus them, and ask them of people who you know are actually involved in what you're asking about. You can compare your results to previous polls like the Hite report and actually see how things have changed. As it is, I really doubt if you're going to find previous results that tell you how many people were willing to date a porn star in the past, so what use is that information to you?

Mixing and matching the questions could give an incredible insight into any character an author feels they don't know well enough.

It pays to be openminded eh.

Mixing and matching the questions could give an incredible insight into any character an author feels they don't know well enough.

I took one look at these questions and instantly thought they'd make an interesting indepth character profile. I can't believe nobody else saw that though.

I answered the survey and mailed it. My thoughts were the same as wildsweetone that it would make an interesting indepth character profile. Besides, most of these questions I've answered in one form or another and if a story is created from the answers I gave, I hope to read it because it will be tailor made.
