Sci-Fi Non-consensual story?

I've read many stories where authors tried to make things extremely hardcore and non-consensual, and obviously these stories aren't very realistic. Stuff like body modification, long term non-consensual bondage/slavery and mindfucking are obviously works of fiction. However I think Sci-fi stories involving these types of bondage are okay.

My idea for a story is pretty straightforward. In the future, colonists/settlers living on other planets fights a brutal war with Earth. An earthborn soldier/pilot is captured and genetically modified to be the perfect slave. She is sold and she is initially desperate to escape, however she falls in love with another slave and gradually becomes obedient.

Any tips/thoughts/ideas?
