Hey, all!
Just wanted to take the opportunity to wish all the teachers, students and support staff out there good luck in the new school year:

Teachers/professors: You do hard work. If you work with kids especially then you've got infinitely more patience than me. Heck, I've tutored undergrads and it's tough at times, even if it's rewarding. Kudos for your dedication (you masochists!)
What do you teach, where?

Students: What classes are you taking? How much longer til you graduate? Good luck in your endeavors and remember -cite, cite, cite.

Support staff- hey, you guys rock too! I'd not have gotten anywhere in school had I not known who had the real power. :D. Good luck to you as well. Umm...what kind of cookies do you like? ;)

Early Childhood Education

It will be forever till I graduate but when I do I will get the book with all the answers which makes it worth it. At this point I will graduate just in time to put my own kid through college which is the point.

No rush. School's fun. :)
Are you saying you want to wind up teaching your kid?

Nice post Teknight!

I agree with you. The teachers I know here are great people and I enjoy their company.

Good luck to all the students!

The support staff are the backbone of the educational system. Without them, life would come to a screeching halt.

I do that everyday. No I am saying I want a stable satisfying career so I can afford to help her persue the education that will help her with her dreams.

Nursing

I'll be starting my first year of nursing in September. :) Plus, it's a four year course so I won't be graduating for a long time.

I'll be taking five classes this semester: psychology, anatomy and physiology, english and a bunch of nursing courses.

Great choice, my wife has been a nurse for 15 years and still loves going to work.

I start school on Monday :(
I'm currently working on a BA in creative and professional writing with a minor in computer sci. and a minor in ewriting.

My classes this year are an interesting mix.
  • Understanding Politics
  • Aesthetics
  • Linux Systems programming
  • Consumer Chemistry
  • Contemporary Writers
