I felt Lilth's hand brush mine for just a second before she bounded up the steps to the front door banging on it hard. Kevin reached for the door knob and turned it. It was unlocked and he pushed it open with a loud creak from the rusty hinge. Jenny was hanging back a bit seeming to be a little nervous about the prospect of entering this old house. I panned my light across the room stopping on several old pictures. Without warning a piano began to play and we all jumped a bit. I called out "Hello, anyone home?" There was no reply other than the piano so I stepped forward and into the room. I moved to the sound of the piano finding a old player piano in the corner near the front porch. I pushed the button to stop the music. "Calm down everyone its just a player piano not a ghost. It must have started up when we opened the door for some reason." I looked at the three others as they seemed unsure of what to do now. "Do we want to split up into pairs and investigate or do we want to stay together?"

Lilith felt a shiver run up her spine, as David walked past her and turned off the piano. She had been standing in front of the wall with the paintings suddenly she felt dizzy, a sick feeling in her and soon she felt herself falling. She didnt feel herself hit the thick carpeted ground but she felt the wind knocked out of her. All went black for a few moments, all she could smell was the dusty carpet, she felt as if something was filling her.

Within minuets she felt her eyes flutter open, "Where am I?" her voice sounded rather authoritative and different.

 

[Trailryder]

I saw a strange look sweep across Lilth's face just before she crashed to the carpet. I moved quickly to her side just to see that she was coming around now. There was a chill in the air that was not there before and it cut right to the bone. I looked down at her laying on the carpet when she spoke. Her voice was a bit different more demanding and in control then the sweet voice of Lilth. I looked at the other two and they could tell the difference as well for both of them had a look of "what the hell just happened". "Lilth, are you alright as I helped her into a sitting position?"

Kevin, meanwhile, begins to hear music again. Not of some player piano, but.. violins? He opens the door to the main room and the player piano plays again. But this time it not some amusing relic playing children's music. It is a grand ballroom piano, and this is the ballroom. Musicians play fine music. He sees the lovely Jennifer in her magnificent gown, and strides across.

"Jennifer, you are looking lovely this evening. It seems that your husband is paying his attentions to your sister, my bride to be. It is with great pleasure I take her hand to cement the relationship between your family and mine. But now I would like your hand. Won't you have this dance with me?"

Lilith looked up at David, hearing Kevin speak a ways off. "Where is my husband..." she growled getting up and almost instantly falling back into his arms with dizziness. "KEvin!" she rorared striding powerfully through the portrait room to where Kevin and Jennifer were. "Get your hands off my sister!" she growled looking at Kevin.

Kevin suddenly hears the voice of Lilith. He spins, and almosts bumps into Jenny -- how did *she* get so close to him? How did he get into the main room? Lilith's heels echo along the wooden floor of the house, as she walks determined towards the two. "Kevin!"

"Lilith! What is wrong with you?" Kevin looks down upon the angry young woman. He holds her wrists in his hands, as an attempt to calm her down. He looks into her brown eyes and says, "Lilith... I'm sorry..."

OOC: You're talking as if confused were a bad thing, lol. Just write how your character reacts to what's going on and forward the scene a little.

"You better be sorry, I can't believe you Kevin, how could you do this to me what would people think! You are my husband and it is your duty to remain faithful! and here you go with me sister!?You should be ashamed of yourself!" she said pulling her wrist from his hands.

She looked at Kevin, then at Lilith, then at each a few more times. She turned quizzically to David, them then just turned back around. "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON???!!!????" she screamed/yelled, totally thinking she was losing her mind.

 

[Trailryder]

David observed all that was happening so very fast around him not understanding or comprehending what was going on. It all seemed to be a whirlwind of activity with no beginning or no end. He heard Jenny call his name and moved to her side. "Jenny, calm down its going to be alright." He grabbed her by the shoulders forcing her to open her eyes and look at him. "Look at my face Jenny it will be alright, I want let anyone or anything hurt you!" Looking back at Lilth David speaks calmly and collected, "Lilth come here and take my hand I'm going to lead us out of here. Kevin I suggest that you follow us now or you are on your own!"

She cant help but scream a freaked out scared as hell scream as her back slides down the wall to the ground and she curls up in a ball. "Stop it!!! Stop stop no no no!!!!"

 

[Trailryder]

Seeing Lilth standing there screaming and either unable or unwilling to leave I decided to take action. Moving quickly to her side and grabbing her he spoke very firmly, "Lilth we are leaving now and you are coming with us!" He looked deep into her eyes that appeared distant and no longer those of the girl he had entered this house with. He looked back at the group once again demanding they all move towards the door. "Lilth, I need you to listen to me and start walking towards the door or else I will carry you because I'm not going to leave you here."

Kevin shook the cobwebs out of his head -- almost literally. Something almost possessed him to hold Lilith, but it was not with the same heart that he felt for Jenny. Recovering his senses, he followed the others.

Her legs had pretty much given way from underneath her and she felt faint and sick and like she wanted to die...her mind was racing, and her heart was pounding. Nothing and everything made sense all at once. She couldn't control herself as she lied there on the ground freaking out.

 

[Mistriss_Isis]

As lilith felt David grab hold of her, whatever had taken hold of her slipped away. "Yea youre right let's go," she said a puzzeled look on her face as she looked back at Kevin as the exited the house.

Her head shot around at anything she could look at then screamed and looked at Kevin who was just standing there. "Kevin help!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.

Kevin cradled Jennifer in his arms. He held her body tightly, close to his. He held her head in his arms -- and away from the sight of the house. For the house was no longer dilapidated and it was no longer night. Somehow, the mansion restored itself to its former glory. Kevin knew something was very very wrong.

As I touched Lilth whatever had happened to her seemed to reverse itself and she seemed unsure but normal once more. She agreed to leave the house and I turned heading for the doorway. As I did things begin to spin and my eyes were blinded by light for a few seconds. When the room stopped spinning and my vision returned the house appeared new, tidy, clean like the day it was built. I looked at Lilth and then the others asking, "Do you guys see that? The house it's not falling apart anymore but like brand new." I looked at Jenny and suddenly I felt something down deep an urge to take her in my arms and kiss her. Ok, hold on where did that come from? Jenny and I are just friends and I have feelings for Lilth not Jenny. I look at the two and know that it is Lilth I want but that strange feeling almost as if it was something in the past.
