I share your sentiments, in the full recognition that the House of Lords will submit to Trump.

The People's House alone will not be enough to overcome the two branches of government that are currently controlled by the minority of American voters. To complicate matters even further, the judicial branch is actively being perverted by those two minority-based institutions. This is a fatal flaw in the U.S. Constitution, irreparable for some time because the same minority currently in control will deny Constitutional amendment.

Hate to say it, but I think we will have to suffer a great crash to turn this scenario around and make much needed structural changes to restore a democracy that responds to the will and needs of the majority.

But we are witnessing the beauty of the American Experiment. In no other country in the world can the elected representatives of the People tell the emperor that he has no clothes.

Regardless of the outcome, the POUTS is being called out for using taxpayer money for personal gain. We believe that is an abuse of power, and the efforts to stop the investigation is obstruction of Congress.

The right thing for the Republic ("Thing of the People" - literally) is happening tonight.

And yes - I agree - it will take a huge event to keep turning the tide of corporatism, globalism, oligarchy and autocratic takeover. But I also believe it is coming.

This is the shot heard round the world against oligarchy and autocracy.

OK. That is not the issue at hand and is pretty much immaterial to the Constitutional issues.

The issue is - Should the duly elected POTUS be enabled to use taxpayer money for personal gain? Or is that abuse of power?

And when being investigated for an abuse of power by a co-equal branch, should the POTUS be empowered to obstruct?

I think that's right.After their ignominious defeat, the Democrats amplified the approach that cost them the election instead of learning from their mistakes.I think the defeat in November is clearly going to be worse. I think it should be enough to permanently destroy the Democrats. A smackdown of epic proportions.
