Scared feeling

I think it happens to most of us from time to time. I read some of my "better" stories and wonder why I have such trouble making stuff sound as good these days. Reasons why it happens probably differ from person to person, but yes, I'm sure that stress can be a major factor (coming from someone who is experiencing a lot of it at the moment.)

Hmmnmm!!!!!!!! *hugs* I have missed you!

It could be stress, it could just have been a bad time to write. It will pass, I know it will. :rose:

EL! You Toooo! :rose:
I think you and Crimson are both right.
Weird how you can answer your own question if you ask others that question.

What fun we had, hmmm?
Damn, this is my most favorite site of all!
The Best!

*more hugs*

Glad you found the answer. now stay and play a while!

How I wish I could! But maybe one of these days...
Another aspect to the problem, is that this music project was almost finished - I thought it was finished then realized that I made some ignorant mistakes that could have been avoided with some prior research. I can't seem to focus on more than one project, thought I wish otherwise. The words are beginnng to look attractive again and they indeed beckon, but I feel this other project must be completed - or it will be yet another of the many unfinished projects to throw on the already high pile.

Yes, I agree with that quote, El - you should be sainted - if Elton John can be sirred, you should certainly be... sirressed or something.

Where's the mess hall anyway?

Where is everybody?

Damn I love this place!

Oh I  you! *hugs* well just come back regularly, you're missed!

It's called the writing muscle. If you don't exercise it, it gets a bit out of shape. You'll get it back, you just have to work it out a little. The more you work with it, the easier it gets. Just keep working on it. :rose:

hmmmmnmm

Relax, you've cleared your first hurtle already. You have rediscovered your "Desire" to write. Next look around for your "Will" to follow your desire. Next commit "the deed" of actually writing something. Using those three steps, you will reach your "destiny," which is to get back to writing once more. I wish you well.

PS: if you ever need someone to read your stories once they're approved, let me know by using my submission page. Good luck!
